The Sperry Chalet is a unique experience that requires some effort on your part. It's a fairly strenuous hike, about 6.5 miles one way with a 3500 elevation gain. There is no electricity, no hot water, no indoor plumbing and no turndown service. The walls of the Chalet are so thin you will hear everything your neighbors say or do....

Simply said this is a must on the bucket list, incredible scenery, incredible food, and incredible staff. This is not a place for the faint of heart or couch potatoes. It is a 7 mile hike in with an elevation gain of 3500 feet. The chalet has no electricity or running water and they give you ear plugs because this...

The location is beautiful, the accommodations are like no other and the lemonade at the hikes end hit the spot. There is some great history here. We met...

We stayed one night at Sperry in August 2013. Great food and staff. We hiked up to Sperry Glacier which was a great hike. We were able to book it only 3 days in advance due to a cancellation. Sperry is best for service but Granite Lodge has much better views.
