This is the largest of the very few hotels that are actually in Grand Canyon Village. It is situated in a very convenient location. The main lodge is in a very big parking lot that also has a bank and a General Store. The lodge has a cafeteria and a very small tavern/restaurant. The burger we had one night in... More

We enjoyed our visit to the Grand Canyon and staying inside the park at Yavapi. We stayed at the places that we could pull right up to, which was nice as were traveling with a little one and had way too much baggage. It was super close to the restaurant and general store, which we ate at two nights, and... More

Our room was ok, it was clean, but old. Bathroom was updated. The location of the resort was not close to the rim but we could take a bus to the village. The staff was great and there was a restaurant which was good. We had come to see the Grand Canyon and that in itself was a wonderful experience... More

The check in was very efficient. We stayed in the east rooms over Thanksgiving. We had two queen sized beds and a bunk bed. The bunk bed wasn't made, so my girls made the bed. The room is basic and the bathroom, quite basic. You check in at one building, then stay in rooms that are close by. The breakfast... More

We only stayed for one night unfortunately, but the room was comfortable (2 adults, 2 children) and warm, which was just what we needed. The location is great and more affordable that other places in the park.

Clean, rustic, bit of a walk in the evening, take a torch as there is not lighting, to the Restaurant/Cafeteria, and General Store, which is well stocked and has its own Deli. Air conditioner very loud and difficult to sleep.

The hotel is located within the national park. It has two parks, Yavapai Lodge East and West. East has been renovated recently. It's more comfortable but a little expensive than west. We stayed in west. The room is okay. The heater is a little noisy and no wifi in room. There is a fridge but no micro-wave. We went to... More

The Yavapi Lodge was very enjoyable. Each room has a small fridge and a coffee/tea maker. The room was clean. We were in the farthest building so it was quite a walk to the Market Plaza and Visitor Center. Would recommend having a flashlight for walking at night. We were checked in by a very pleasant man, Mesyundro, who gave... More

This is a nice facility within the national park. The front desk clerks were very helpful and housekeeping was good. Parking was plentiful. Staying here gives you walking access to all the south rim shuttle buses as well as the park book store and gift shops. Dining options are limited so we brought deli food from Williams with us, the... More

Great location, super friendly staff, much easier if you have your own car because the lodge is a bit far from the best sunrise and sunset points, though the trail is close - and the market and shops are, too. Rooms were spacious, bathroom was adequate; I liked that they're trying to save water. The canteen was lovely, the coffee... More
