We were 5 people staying in a cabin with 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds each. The rooms were clean and functional. We enjoyed the feeling of being in the forest without having to be in tents. The views at the beaches surrounding the village itself are fantastic. Being so far away from city lights made the stars stand out... More

I had read reviews of the paper thin walls prior to booking my cabin that had a shared bathroom. There are four 12 x 12 rooms within a single rectangle cabin that share 1 bathroom with the 3 other rooms and it contained a shower, toilet and sink. There are several of these structures closely layer throughout the woods. As... More

These are true log cabins within a Nat'l Park but with the basic amenities. The only availability was a two room cabin with four double beds for our family, which worked out well. Between the two rooms in a vestibule is the bare bones bathroom with a shower and small sink. Both rooms have a door that can lock so... More

Situated in a superb location. Cabins very well equipped with plenty of room. Can be a little cold in September and the electric heater most welcome. Cold floors would benefit from a few more rugs and carpets to avoid cold feet. No telephone or tea and coffee but available in "residents lounge" as is wi-fi.

We stayed in a cabin that had two double beds and a twin, and, most importantly, a bathroom. The cabin was very basic, but it was clean, the beds were comfy, and the heater worked. You will want to bring your own toiletries, because they don't offer much. They do have linens and towels that work fine. In the morning,... More

RV Park very nice with full hook ups. Close to Jackson Lake with great views from some sites. Wooded sites make satellite unlikely. Mostly level sites and not very close to one another. We enjoyed a 4 night stay here while touring GTNP and Yellowstone.

My wife & I stayed in one of the cabins so we could be in a central location of GTNP. Yes, you pay a premium price for the convenience of staying in the heart of a beautiful park. Well worth it for us though. The cabin was comfortable with adequate sleeping & bathroom accommodations. We had a small wall space... More

My husband and I stayed for three nights in a cabin with two double beds. The room was big enough for the two of us but very basic. The heater had no thermostat, but quickly warmed up the room. Colter Bay is centrally located so that getting to other locations was easy and convenient. We picked the "sustainable rate" (no... More

We stayed in a cabin originally built in 1922 and refurbished and moved to Colter in 1957. It was basic, but cozy with all mod cons and an efficient heater. After Yellowstone, we were delighted to find free wifi in the public areas and a short walk, or a drive if raining, brings you to the Ranch House where they... More

I have to be honest. When we arrived after dark and walked into our very chilly cabin I wasn't overly impressed but soon I found the heater and the views in the daylight were amazing. The beds were very comfortable and it was a great 2 bedroom accommodation with trails right behind the cabin! My only negative was the bathroom.... More
