Over the last ten years I've stayed at Jenny Lake Campground and I've seen a steady decline in the whole campground. Good news, repairs and upgrades have been made to some of the sites they even have handicap accessible sites. While I've never taken a pet to the best of my knowledge the whole campground is pet friendly. It's walking... More

The key to the Jenny Lake Campground is to arrive EARLY. It is a first come first camp environment and fifteen minutes late can make all the difference. I would recommend lining up at 7:30 at the latest. Also, ASK which spots are supposed to be checking out. You are going to have the nervous feeling of should we take... More

Jenny Lake Campground in the Grand Teton National Park is a great choice for campers who want the feel of the woods, privacy and electric hookups. There are tent and rv sites with sections for dry camping and some areas with electric hookups. Good sites fill early, go a day ahead and pick out a few sites you like so you... More

Jenny Lake Campground is amazing, from almost every campsite you can see the Majestic Tetons, and in a few minutes walk you are at Jenny Lake, it is well worth the early morning start to get one of these coveted campsites, this is a tent only campground, with picnic tables, nice tent area, nice fire pit and bear box in... This campground was small and had nice sites that each had their own bear box. The reason it got 2 stars from me is because we were woken up every morning around 6am by construction, which is never fun, and even less fun when you are camping because we expected to hear nature in the morning not dump trucks. We... More

I drove over 700 miles to camp at Jenny Lake and it was so worth the drive!! I was literally brought to tears when I arrived! It was self check in that day, we arrived early afternoon and the campground was already full! We had a bit of a mix up with the last site available and to our dismay... More

For years I avoided this campground due to the popularity of Jenny Lake among the summer crowd, assuming it would be noisy and bustly and a bit too much. How happy I am to say it is offset from the south Jenny Lake parking area and all the bustle! They're only 50 sites so it is quite small and fills... More

The biggest appeal was the fact that this is tent only campground, so no RV noise –ever! If visiting Tetons again, and staying in the campground I would most definitely stay at Jenny Lake even though the amenities are very modest. If you are not willing to deal with that this campground probably is not for you. Overall most campers... More

Absolutely loved this campground. Right near the Tetons, in walking distance of Jenny Lake and near great hiking trails. You’ll need to come early to secure a spot because it’s very popular. We arrived at 8am and were lucky to still be able to choose between a couple of sites. The camp sites are very large and rustic.

We got to Jenny Lake at 11AM and I ran to the campground host hoping to secure a spot in this 50-something sites tent-only place. He said 'you are here on a very good day'! We could even choose! We took his recommendation and settled at Site 39 that faces the park road but is blocked from camp loop road... More
