With each cabin there are beds, fire pit, picnic table, linen provided, and hot water in separate shower stall area. Not Pricey. Go see the glow of lava in Halemaumau crater after dark. WE LOVE THIS PLACE- lots of memories. Bring wood for fireplace.

This place was our home for 4 days and we LOVED it. We went into this expecting rough cabins (like in a caravan park in Australia) and this was 100x better! This was our little base camp for ALOT of hiking (60+ km) while we were here and it was just perfect. The clean & fresh bedding is all included....

Stayed here one night as part of a trip around the island on a rented Harley from Kona. Clean, basic accommodations. 2 outlets, 1 inside light, no heat. After a chilly ride on our motorcycle back to the cabin at 1:am, we realized that the cabin had no heat, at 55 degrees it was a bit cold. Luckily they provided...

This is a repeat post that is also filed under Volcano House Hotel. A tenting option is also available in the same campground as the cabins. Just 3 miles from Volcano house is Namakani Paio Campground where you can rent small cabins or fall asleep to distant rumble of the boiling Kilauea lava lake in your own two person tent....

Nope-nada-NEVER. I can not say enough that I will never do this again. My idea of roughing it is putting up with loud neighbors while resting in a warm clean hotel room. I'm sure this fine for others who may camp frequently. I am not a fan. Ended up sleeping in car. Gave 3 stars as it is cute and...

We stayed one brief night and arrived late / left early in the am. Overall the beds & bedding were comfortable. However, we did find it cold at night and the scent from the air freshener bothered us. The unit and bathrooms were clean and it was a very short drive back to the volanco.

The rooms at the Volcano House were more than we typically spend for an evening, however, we did want to stay in the park. Packing our camping gear would have costed us another $50 in luggage fees - so the cabins seemed to be our best choice. We were very happy. Yes, $80/night is a lot for a cabin, but...

Cannot wait to return to Hawaii and these fantastic, comfortable cabins. The kids had a fire then took a late night walk to Jaeger Museum to see the lava spattering. It was magical and we will definitely return to these cabins.

Everything is as advertised but kind of dense. Had a great time. Free coffee in the lobby of the Volcano house. Clean bathrooms and hot showers. Tent area has room for groups with large Pavillion and fire place.

I booked a cabin for my family of four almost a year in advance so we could show our 3 and 6 year olds the peacefulness and serenity of Volcano Nat'l Park after a hectic Christmas in Waikiki. One month before our trip they called and cancelled our reservation due to "hazardous trees". Now, nearly the entire island is booked...
