Keep in mind that this is an old lodge and has it's quirks. The floors squeak, there is little sound insulation, no A/C, wifi or TV. However, the location is amazing. Great views on the valley side of the annex and a wonderful lounge area to sit and relax. The restaurant and cafe are both good, and the service was...

Our family of four enjoyed our stay here last June. Please don't go here thinking you will be staying at a big-city Hyatt hotel. This is a historic lodge that has a rustic feel. You are paying for the atmosphere and the incredible location. We stayed in a 2 bedroom family room and woke up to an incredible view of...

Loved this inn, the setting couldn't be more spectacular, nestled between the trees and the mountain. They are re-surfacing their parking lot and it is a mess to get to the hotel. They did not have good signage up for guests, but hopefully it's done now and they're back to normal. The rooms are small with no tv, but it'...

I have stayed at Paradise Inn at least 20 times in the past 45 years and almost yearly since 2004 (except when it was closed for renovation, of course). Paradise Inn is a grand lodge, simultaneously elegant and rustic, located at the base of Mt. Rainier. When The mountain is "out," no view could be more mesmerizing than that from...

We stayed here as part of a Pacific Northwest vacation. Our room was booked in April but we arrived end of September. Upon arrival we were greeted by detours, road construction and re-paving of their parking lot (no notice, heads up or discounts when asked...but why should they, captive audience after driving 19 miles up the mountain). We could not...

Thank you for sharing your comments. I would first like to sincerely apologize for each and every inconvenience you encountered during your stay. Unfortunately, the parking lot paving project scheduled by the National Park Service was weather dependent and subject to daily changes. Paving has been completed with easy access to the inn and parking restored. We certainly agree that...

When we entered the dining room we were the only people in line. It was about 45 minutes before the breakfast hours were up. The hostess walked within three feet of us twice making an effort not too make eye contact. We flagged down a young lady who said she was with housekeeping but would find the hostess. Once seated...

After a climb to Comet Falls in heavy rain, our group headed to the Inn for some dry clothes and warmth by the massive fire places. Lots of parking but it was crowded on a Saturday afternoon in mid-September. Because of the heavy rain, there were a lot of people inside also warming up. One family must have planned a...

If you are into rolling back the years & happy to carry your suitcases up or down stairs & enjoy comfortable bed, small room & share a bathroom for some rooms than do not hesitate, this place has true magic. The reception/lounge area is big & full of character. Two big fireplaces with plenty of seating are welcoming after a...

Location is excellent. Staff is very helpful. Unfortunately we were not able to book a room with attached bath and toilet but no fault of hotel. Views are priceless. Only issue is that there were no clear marking on road to hotel about location so we passed right by parking lot and did not realize it was there. May be...

This hotel was built in 1916 and needs updating but it is a National Park Hotel so rustic is to be expected. Our room was a queen with a bath, you must be very specific about room choice, many have shared bathrooms. Extremely tiny room with a small sink in the room and toilet and tub in bathroom. There is...
