Amazing campground located right in Zion NP. Only stayed here one night but it was one of the best camping experiences I have ever had. The campsite was setup great, the temperature was perfect, the fire was roaring, the mountains that surrounded us were amazing, and we experienced complete relaxation!!! Yeah the campground was a little busy and there were... More

What an amazing campground! In the middle of Zion and so close to all the attractions/activities. After a day of walking at the Angle’s landing and going to the Narrows, this was the perfect place to relax. As soon as we got there we made the barbecue ready to go for our food. The sun was still shining and there... More

This campground is outstanding. precious location in the middle of the park. Even if it was super busy, everything was clean and fresh. We strongly recommend to arrive before 7am if you haven't booked your spot in advance. But dont panic, the view is amazing while you wait, a treat to watch the sunrise.

Spent three nights in late October at site F13 at the Watchman Campground at Zion. My friend and I were a bit light on the usual car camping amenities since we had both flown into Las Vegas from Florida/North Carolina, and were limited on what we could carry. Still, we had a spacious six-person REI tent with full rainfly, decent... More

Camped in Loop F - the walk-in sites. Love these!! Great Views and good size and well-spread out camping sites. There is a common fire pit between every 3 or 4 campsites which makes it fun to meet your neighbors. (Some of the campsites closest to the parking area also have their own fire pit) They do get alot of... More

Very well managed campsite (and park!). The NP definitely does a great job at copping with the huge number of visitors. We had a walk-in site (loop F) which was great to reduce the noise from cars – yet we were only 10 mts away from the parking and could easily reach the car. Beautiful location amongst the cliffs -... Perhaps it was because we wound up in the RV section of the campground, but we found the facilities building to be really nice in comparison with other park campgrounds. Soap dispensers and hot air hand-dryers are nice features not found in other campgrounds. We had an amazing view of the tall, sandstone peaks and generators are not allowed, so... More

The campground is in the natural park. There a lot of possibilities, take a shuttle just at the entrance, listen a ranger programm at 8.45 PM, take a bath on the river or visit the visitor center just near the campground. There's nice camp places and the price is very low. You could seee wild animals on the camp and... More

We had purchased the National Parks Pass for $80 so the entrance fee of $30 was "pre-paid". We headed straight to the Visitors Center and boarded the shuttle to the North end of the park. The shuttle service in Zion is excellent (besides their need for A/C- TIP: Wear shorts long enough so that your legs don't sweat all over... More

We stayed in 6 different national park campgrounds - from Arches to Mesa Verde to Zion - and I must say that in many ways Watchman was one of my favorites. So why 4 stars - as usual, it's the little things that just come so close and yet... well. Judge for yourself. Watchman is located right at the Zion... More
