My wife and I had the opportunity to visit County Down in April and stay at the Dunnanelly Country House for 4 nights. Sally welcomed us with open arms and immediately we felt as if we were at home. The country house and property were beautiful and our room and bathroom were extremely large and so well appointed. The breakfast...

Sally and James make you feel like royalty. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious, comfortable and luxurious. There is a super drawing room to relax in when not out and about enjoying the beautiful Northern Irish countryside. We had a huge choice of delicious breakfast foods, locally sourced and homemade, eaten off an enormous table. We are lucky enough...

We stayed for a couple of nights and have returned. This is a great place to stay, large bedroom, largest bathroom we have ever enjoyed, peaceful, lovely views. Fantastic breakfast with local produce, great array of jams, juices. A special place.

It was such a shame we only stayed for 2 nights. Spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds, coupled with the most incredibly powerful showers made our stay relaxing and luxurious. Breakfast was something else, with a huge range of homemade products and a variety of choice from yoghurt and berries to a perfectly cooked Ulster fry. Finally the B&B is run...

What a wonderful stay we had! Hosts Sally & James were so welcoming and eager to help in any way. We stayed in the beautifully furnished "Yellow Room" with main window overlooking the courtyard and a window on the side with lovely views to Mourne Mountains. Very spacious room as is its en suite bathroom with lovely bath and huge...

What a lovely find. This is possibly, no probably, no actually is the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Before you go you maybe think how can a B&B be a Country House but it really is. Built only 12 years ago but it sits beautifully as if it has been there for much longer. Superbly comfortable - the...

We were very fortunate to discover Dunnanelly Country House about a half hour drive from central Belfast . The spectacular country location was quiet, luxurious and welcoming. Sally, the proprietor was full of great ideas for day trips and restaurants in the area. She was accommodating in every way. Breakfasts were yummy and in a magnificent dining room filled with...

We stayed here for two nights and could not have been happier. The grounds are stunning, the setting quiet and peaceful and the house itself majestic. The room was great and the breakfast choices absolutely spot on. All topped off by wonderful, accommodating hosts. I'd stay again and will definitely be recommending it to friends and family.

We stayed here when visiting for a wedding last month and have been reminiscing since then of what a fantastic time we spent in Dunnanelly and Northern Ireland in general. This was an incredible find. Of the ten B&Bs we stayed at during our recent tour of Ireland, we rated Dunnanelly Country House equal top (with one other). We can’t praise it enough. Everything was excellent and there was absolutely nothing we could fault. Do yourself a favour and stay here when in this area of Northern Ireland.
