Judging from the reviews (both in Chinese and English) of other hotels in Alishan, this hotel seems to be by far the best one. The room was very spacious and the facilities were very up to date. Breakfast was also great. The highlight of this hotel is that it books trips up the mountain for its guests so that they...

There's free shuttle to bring us to the hotel doorstep from the visitor center where our bus dropped us. The hotel is in the center of most hiking trails so very easy to get around. Dinner was sumptuous and included as part of the booking. Hotel room was big and luxurious. This is possibly he best hotel in Alishan area!

We were supposed to get a room with a Mountain View. It was disappointing. It was only a roof top view, after being shown around a few. To be fair, they tried to accomodate the conditions stated on the booking form. So, we hope you wont end up like our situation. The room was relatively large but the furniture could...

We had stayed in the deluxe quad on the 8th floor. As that was our first time in Alishan, we had no idea how to go about or what we could do there. Upon checking in, the hotel staff at the reception was very helpful. Firstly, she said it was too early to check-in. Hence, she handed us a map...

This is a beautiful hotel within the Alishan National Recreation Area. The old wing has its charm, but we stayed in a deluxe quad in the new wing. It had two king sized beds, a balcony, fireplace, and large bathroom. With the tall cypress trees just outside the window, it seemed like a treehouse. The breakfast and dinner buffet were...

Stayed in the Alisan House in late December 2016. Booked two twin rooms in the modern wing and was upgraded to two luxurious rooms with two king size beds and a small balcony when checked in. The hotel is in a perfect location for travellers who rely on public transport. There are free shuttle bus to and from the bus...

I slept in the "historic" wing (so maybe the newer wing is better). It feels as if the rooms have not been maintained in many years. The bath / shower had no curtain so rapidly there was water everywhere. Apart from the great location (this being a big plus!) these rooms are really shabby and in need of serious redecoration....

Stayed a night in the hotel to get up very early for the fame Alishan sunrise. I think this hotel is one of the better ones in the area. Room is cosy and spacious. Fits a family of 4 easily. The bathroom has a tub n separate shower area. Room has a nice heater too and it comes handy in...

The hotel has a beautiful location in Alishan and the shuttle bus from the visitor centre to the hotel is reliable. The hotel room was clean although awkwardly designed with no door separating the bedroom from the bathroom. The food at the hotel is of a very poor quality given that this is not a cheap hotel. There are not...

Very friendly front desk staff. Helpful and efficient porters. Clean and well located hotel. Just next to a nice trail which leads you to the sisters pond, forest and old trees. Frequent bus schedule to head to the train station. As great as the stay was, there is one complaint though. During my breakfast on the 26th December, the staff...
