We arrived just as darkness descended on a lovely Friday evening at about 7.15 and were immediately impressed by the lovely entrance and struck by the sense of calm at the site. The owner met us after a minute or two in his electric vehicle and made us feel very welcome indeed and after another minute or two we are...

We have just returned from our first caravan trip and stayed 5 nights at this lovely site. It is situated right in the Glen of Aherlow and the views are fabulous. The autumn colours have been quite wonderful. We took our 3 dogs with us and we were made very welcome by the owner George as soon as we arrived....

Our first caravanning holiday for over twenty years, we decided to 'drag our van' (and three spaniels) from France to Co. Tipperary. On arrival after a long and tiring journey, were met by a most helpful gentleman who it turned out was only standing in for the proprietor. We were accorded every assistance by him.(thus setting the standard ably measured...

We would rate the campsite as one of the best if not the best, we have encounter in Ireland in years of using our camper van. Friendly family run business well laid out with lots of beautiful scenery and walks. Situated in one of the most interesting parts of Ireland. A must for all campers.

Our visit came towards the end of our holiday and we were in the mood for relaxing and as it so happened this was the right place at the right time. The area is idyllic and beautiful (photo 1), but don’t be fooled Tipperary town does not match it so don’t put that on your ‘bucket list’. We arrived at...

World class facilities with the friendliest hosts I have ever met. All of this in a stunning, breath taking location, a walkers paradise. Cannot fault this place and almost tempted to give a bad review so I can keep it all to myself! I'll be back.
