Newly opened Italian restaurant is a hit with my family. Starter of goats cheese risotto balls was unusual and very tasty. Chicken wings could do with a dip. Goats cheese pizza was very different and delicious. It was almost healthy with rocket and spinach. Lasagne voted 'best ever' by our budding restaurant critic. Sea bass again unusual, served with another...

First of all, the staff were very polite in the hotel and in the bar/restaurant. The rooms were quite large, and well cleaned every day. During my stay they were renovating the restaurant. This involved power tools and loud hammering after 2am. Not acceptable! Unfortunately I don't possess the necessary descriptive powers to depict the caliber of the food; although...

Arrived on a quiet evening to the bar for some food. Helped ourselves to a seat. Waited.......Waited......Waited. Made way to bar for menus. Made selections. Waited...waited....waited. Approached the bar on this very quiet evening where 2 staff were chatting, I attempted to order and was told somebody would come and take my order. At last service protocol was implemented. Waited,...

This was our second time in visiting the marine hotel. We visited 3 years ago. The public area is very plush and it's undergoing a refurb in the restaurant ( it's becoming an Italian) . The bedrooms are a different story though, they are old fashioned with old fittings and the table and chairs in our room wouldn't have been...

We stayed Friday-Sunday with our room sadly located just over the bar. The noise was crazy, and we were constantly woken both from voices from the bar (we could hear the conversations!) and by people walking outside our room ... the overall sound insulation is lousy. Won't go back.

I stayed at The Marine Hotel again earlier this month whilst on a trip to Dublin. Service was good as usual and a big thank you must go to the team on reception particularly Ciara for all the assistance they gave me on a panicked Monday morning when I was up against a deadline. Breakfasts were good and my husband...

Family chose to dine in the hotel Restaurant on anniversary of my late mother. Parents were married there & we go regularly but steadily getting worse. On the night in question a family party of 7 arrived and were seated. Nobody came near us after that so after 15 minutes I had to go looking for someone and ask for...

Really nice hotel with good food and amenities but above all friendly, helpful staff at all levels. Polite at all times without sacrificing their 'personalities'. Was used for a 'family' reunion of around 60 people, aged 6 months - 95, with about 20 stopping at the hotel, the rest living in the area.

Had a party to go to in Sutton and then an early morning flight so decided to stay the night in the Marine. Served the purpose but was just average and not worth the €180 for bed and breakfast. Reception staff very nice, room okay but when the wind and rain are full on the noise in room felt like...
