Spent 5 nights in touring area, location is just beautiful bar, restaurant etc lovely and a lovely kids playpark with dolphin fountain. Great walks from the site and beach is great. However restaurant and shop was closed 3 days out of my 5 but site was really busy ? Pitches are way too tight, no privacy people dont use paths just meander past your windows. Loud music playing until after 1am not from the entertainment at the site but from the area opposite. Dogs running around not on leads, no body seemed to be keeping a watch on late night activities there was a warden ..,somewhere?? Would like to return thought September would be a bit quieter but no would hate to be there july and August

The touring pitches are to tight together as people have caravans big awnings and there car all sitting on and around the pitches .Access to the pitches is poor due to people taking up more space than the actual pitch they are supposed to be on not good in case of an Emergency. Toilets were pretty poor standard.Shower block needs cleaning more often. So overall pretty poor site by AbbeyFord standard Wouldn't recommend a visit in its current state.

Loved this site last year so had to return this year and once again we all had a fabulous time! We love that Elie is not a 'trashy' site, its well maintained, clean and peaceful. We stayed in the Castaway Beach caravan, a stones throw away from the beach, it was pet friendly, clean and catered to our needs. The Robinson Crusoe adventure park is absolutely fabulous for children , the Cafe was spot on for your morning coffee and had a good selection of food , the pub was very clean and also dog friendly. Can't comment on the restaurant or entertainment as we skipped these. Checking in was a breeze, WiFi is brilliant, perfect spot for Fife coastal path which leads to Elie, amazing walk with spectacular views. The beaches are breath taking and never many on them. Once again we all had an amazing holiday and the weather was great, which is always a bonus...like I said last year this is a hidden gem, hoping it will never change!

First visit to this park and we really enjoyed it. Beach 2 minute walk from pitch and an excellent play park for the kids. Restaurant food was lovely and staff very friendly. Bar staff super friendly & helpful and loads entertainment. Shop has anything you need but bit pricey that’s to be expected though. We camped and the spot was perfect. Showers where ok clean enough but toilets could be doing with an upgrade. Overall our kids had a ball and we all can’t wait to return next year hoping to try caravan as they looked lovely. I would highly recommend this park.

Third year in a row with our caravan in July, but will give it a miss now. It's about time Abbeyford spent some money on the park. The male and female toilets are always not flushing, the showers are just warm and have a poor flow. No warm air hand dryers ( or even paper towels ) in the shower blocks for some strange reason, as you have to use them for toilets when the other toilets are closed for cleaning or being worked on ! Cleaning of same should be regular, not just once per day, as most had the toilet roll dispensers being empty or jammed. On one occasion there was no paper in either of the gents cubicles nor in any of the shower rooms ! You shouldn't have to take your own when you are paying such a high pitch fee for a basic pitch ! The restaurant has not improved. The food is just average, if that. The quality of the produce is pretty poor. Ham is cheap and the steak in the steak pie was tough ! Peas and carrots appear to be the only veg the chef knows. Run on a shoestring, but not cheap. To be fair the fish and chips served were really good and far better than the rubbish we got in Anstruther from both so called "Award Winning Chippies" Abbeyford really need to get the site upgraded to modern standards, as there are no fully serviced pitches at all and no tarmac hard standings.

Stayed here with a touring caravan for 7 nights. A great playpark for kids, a good bar that wasn’t overpriced. Relaxed atmosphere which is good for customers. Bad points. One of the most expensive sites I’ve stayed on, which would be okay if everything was perfect, however, unfortunately it wasn’t. The shower rooms are a great size and well appointed with a shower, toilet and sink in each one. The problem was that they were very grubby, needed cleaning more often, there were 9 of them but half of them weren’t usable as the pressure from the shower was horrendous, barely a trickle that struggled to wash the soap off your body. Completely unacceptable for the price they are charging. Myself and others complained to the reception, all of us were told it would be sorted but never was, a maintenance person was never seen anywhere the toilet block. When you only have 4 or 5 usable showers between 300 plus people, its a major issue. Only time we saw them being cleaned was early morning, again for the amount of people using them, not acceptable. The showers that worked had great pressure, so water pressure was not the issue. It was something else that no attempt was made to rectify. The laundry room wasn’t much better. Nothing working. At £48 a night these facilities should be perfect. As for the shop! Trying to rip off kids. My daughter was given a pound short in her change, fair enough they gave her it when she went back in, but, she was not the only one who experienced this, other kids had this done to them, a lot younger ones who wouldn’t realise. This is absolutely diabolical behaviour not to mention illegal. I would not recommend staying here, such a shame as nice site, but poorly maintained services, lying reception staff and common thieves in the shop make it a no.

We stayed at this site with our caravan so were on one of the touring pitches . It’s great being able to chose your preferred pitch at the time of booking especially if travelling with friends. Nice wee shop on site and great the dogs are welcome inside at the restaurant/entertainment. We were not blessed with nice weather due to the time of year we went but still nice on a dry day to walk along the beach which you have direct access to on this site . Toilet and shower facilities were kept clean and tidy. Looking forward to our next stay here .

Really good family site. Dog friendly bar which you don’t find at most places! The manager I think it was James? Possibly… older gentleman was wearing a green running top on the bar but he helped us dinting the day with getting change for the arcades and could see him sorting the bar out aswel asset to the team here! The only one thing I would say would be to bring a shower bag as not to much places to put clothes when showering but that is the only minor thing I could pick out! Lovely staff… will be back again
