this is a very special, magical kind of place. nicely appointed, very comfortable, charming and our room was incredibly beautiful (even more so than the 5 star we stayed in the previous few nights.) there are only 6 rooms, so it has a feel of a family home. tI had recently fractured my foot and our room only had a...

We thought this hotel was immaculate with a definite sense of style and comfort. We were made to feel very welcome. The decor is very luxe and understated. Very few rooms so you feel like your sharing someones home. The village of Marsolan is dead quiet with little of interest but very quaint. The surrounding countryside reminds you of Tuscany...

We stayed three nights and ate in on each evening. The room was very comfortable and the hosts friendly (albeit busy). On one evening we struck up a conversation with a Belgium couple in the lounge/bar - it's that kind of place. The meals we had were all very good, although the hotel keeps to French (late) eating times. There...

Everything about this hotel is wrong. Over designed sterile atmosphere, no guests (even in high season), terrible food. Overall totally charmless. Stunning hilltop village but don't be fooled by this soulless & frankly weird boutique hotel.

We stayed at the beautiful, peaceful and quite amazing Hotel Lous Grits in May 2016 and were quite blown-away by the quality of the hotel combined with the relaxed and very friendly care and attention of the owners, Martine and Marie, who really looked after us during our stay. The magic for our stay at Hotel Lous Grits began as we drove through the beautiful countryside to Marsolan. Martine (owner) greeted us warmly. As she showed us to our room (due to the time of the year, we were the only guests), we were in awe of the attention to detail everywhere...the lobby, bar, court yard, and especially our...

Located in a stunning countryside, this is one of the loveliest hotels we have stayed in. Wonderful hosts and amazing food ( you must have the duck!). Completely relaxing and such attention to detail, the rooms are welcoming and beautifully furnished. Supper by the open fire and breakfast on the terrace - fantastic! Highly recommend!
