Nice stretch of land with 12 or so bungalows, adjacent to agricultural field and mountains. Some days you can see the buffalo and landworkers on the field. The resort has its own small reception and restaurant in authentic asian wooden style. The owner Paolo and his Thai staff are very friendly, Bungalows are OK, Very nice garden and pool with...

My husband and I had a wonderful week at Oriental Village recently. The staff are great, the location relaxing and the facilities more than suitable. While it is a little out of town, transportation is available on request and there are always scooters available for hire should you wish to go out and about. We will definitely be back for...

We had an excellent stay at the Oriental Village, feeling prepared having read the reviews of previous visitors. The place is run by a single French guy who is a bit rough around the edges, but eager to please his guests on the day-to-day. We found the rest of the staff to be friendly and helpful, even when the language...

Firstly, note that it is remote. You will not be able to wander out to a village and find a bar and a couple of restaurants. Despite being almost captive you can depend on excellent food from the in house restaurant. Cleanliness and presentation is excellent. There are only 12 to 15 cottages so you tend to find the staff...

I booked 5 nights at the Oriental Village before arrival, stayed the 6th night and wished I would have stayed a couple of more. This was such a peaceful Oasis in the hustle and bustle of the overall Thai experience, however positive that might be.
