We had a very friendly family welcome from Pranee and Eric when we arrived early. Pranee went out of her way to make some Thai food for my wife, (Issan style) which was very nice of her to do. The location is beautiful and the bungalow was very clean and homely. Just perfect. I managed to play my booked game of golf at Highlands, which is only 1km from here which makes the location perfect for staying, which is far cheaper than Highlands resort & more homely and relaxing. Finding Mai Siam was not a problem with todays technology. Breakfast was excellent, light and just what was needed to start the day. Eric and Pranee continued to make our short stay of 2 days here very comfortable and relaxing ensuring that we had all we needed. Free Wifi in rooms and Restaurant & also Plenty space for Parking We live in Chiang Mai City and we would definitely come back again. We highly recommend the Mai Siam resort to everyone.…

Had a wonderful stay here. Very nice rooms and beautiful scenery. The owners Eric and Pranee were very friendly and accommodating. There are free bicycles there which is a nice way to see the local area. Can absolutely recommend and I plan to be back.

I wanted to play golf in chiang mai for my holidays. I tried to book for Chiang mai Highlands golf resort, but all the rooms were already fully booked. Thanks to Mai siam resort,i have been enjoying the golf in Highlands. it's only five minutes drive from mai siam resort. What is better, Eric and pranee give free pickup seevice to there. Hot spring is near and we can enjoy the best massage and swimming as well. Eric and Pranee are always helpful and willing to help us with everything that we want. I am so moved by their kindness. If you choose this resort, you won't be disappointed.

We went for 'resort hopping' in Chiang Mai and we would have to say that Mai Siam Resort provides the most luxurious 'homestay' Very friendly, approachable and accomodating hosts who went out of their ways to make your stay a pleasant one. Nicely decorated room, very spacious and clean with tv and fridge. To me, it is even more luxurious than a 5 star hotel room. They provide a king size bed. They welcome you with refreshing tropical fruit juice and a big plate of fruits in the room. You can even cook with the host and eat with them. Fresh fruits were served at every meals. Just tell Eric where you would like to visit and they will arrange for you. They will even add in places along the way to our itinerary at no extra cost and he even provided us a phone to call him to pick us up. Overall a very luxurious 'homestay' at a great deal. …

This family-run resort is an amazing deal not to be missed The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, and decorated with exquisite furnishings. The resort is beautifully landscaped with flowers and tropical plants. You are only 5 minutes away from the San Kampaeng hot springs, and free transport is offered there if you want to go for a fun spa experience. The most amazing thing about this hotel is the hosts. Eric and Pranee are such warm hosts who go out of their way to make you comfortable. The food is amazing, from the variety of fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, and great coffee in the morning, to Pranee's incredible homestyle Thai cooking in the evening. They are very knowledgeable about the area and are only too happy to offer recommendations on sights and activities. We only stayed two nights there, but wish we could have cancelled another hotel to stay longer. This is a beautiful and tranquil escape from the noise of Chiang Mai, while still within convenient travel distance to the heart of the city.…

A bit far from Chiang Mai but very peaceful small scale resort. Hospitality is Pranee and Eric's mantra. You will really enjoy it and can relax as you wish. The garden is full of delicious fruits which are served at breakfast. A very good address to visit.

Beautiful place, very quiet and clean. We stayed with 2 families and had a wonderful time. The owners Eric and Pranee made us feel at home and took great care of us. Excellent Thai cooking by Pranee. Strongly recommended if you want to avoid the busy city center or want to stay in a nice boutique resort.

We were looking for a relaxing place to stay to start our Thai holiday and Mai Siam Resort didn't disappoint. Our villa was spacious and tastefully decorated, the gardens delightful and Pranee and Eric were attentive without being overwhelming. They organised for us to do a half day tour which was interesting and enjoyable. On another day we accompanied them to a friend's housewarming - which was a great experience and the food delicious. We walked through the village and down and around the lake. We had dinner at Mai Siam each night and each night we were presented with different Thai food - all delicious. If we are back this way we definitely stay again. The only downside is that without your own car you are reliant on them to take you around.
