The best thing about writing this is reliving the wonderful time we had there. The Garden room was beautiful, as were the grounds, the pool and the hammock. The hammock was a challenge which I never quite managed to grasp. Difficult to detail all the little generosities that Kathy lavished on the guests but the aperitifs, fizz, wine and digestifs that accompanied the 4 course meal defied belief. My wife happened to highlight that, as the clock struck 12, it was our 30th wedding anniversary which I had forgotten. Kathy suddenly appeared with a bottle of Champagne for all of us and a card was in our room when we retired. Charming and witty, Karen had the ability to make us feel charming and witty also. No mean feat! We are organising dates already and fervently wish there will be availability.

Quiet, charming, warm, nicely decorated, la douce France at its best. Kathy & Chris are just so so so cool, open minded and funny. We loved the home made jam, breakfast is just perfect and we enjoyed the hammock :-)

We stayed for 2 nights and felt so chilled. On arrival we were met by Kathy who produced tea and slices of her home made lemon drizzle cake - so tasty. We were made to feel so welcome. Kathy and Chris were the perfect hosts. The evening meals were delicious with plenty of wine flowing too. We spent our time relaxing in the beautiful gardens, swimming in the pool and sitting in the jacuzzi. Our room was lovely. We would highly recommend a stay here.

We stayed with Kathy in May this year and had a terrific time, we only stayed 3 nights but wished we could have stayed longer, still we expect there to be a next time, it is well worth a return visit. Kathy has a wonderful sense of humour and is so welcoming and helpful and is a terrific hostess. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and relaxing. We travelled with family who have stayed a few times before and wanted us to share the experience, we were not disappointed.

Visiting with friends for a long weekend, it just wasn't long enough. Kathy and Chris are the perfect hosts and their company alone would be worth a visit. Funny, kind and charming we felt utterly at home within a few hours. The house is simply beautiful and the grounds / pool are perfect. I could go on, but I'll not...It's altogether lovely and without doubt the nicest place I've ever stayed at.
