Just the most wonderful place to stay in the Haute Pyrenees. We were due to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 5..Sue & Reg were simply wonderful hosts with bags of advice on where to go, where to cycle & where to eat...& Lenny the dog was the star of the show...we would have no problem recommending this place for a group place to stay in the Pyrenees...we will return
I hate B&Bs. I hadn't stayed in one for 20 years before my stay at Le Closier. But Reg and Sue may have changed my mind. The inn (rooms, grounds, shared spaces) is lovely--just right. And Reg and Sue, the owners, were great hosts. Don't look any further. Book now. Thank me later.
Beautiful, well maintained property with lovely surrounding....Reg and Sue the owners were wonderful, welcoming and friendly and the breakfast lovely. They offer meals in the evening too and they were very tasty and abundant. Can't praise these people enough.....go stay there, you won't regret it. The views from the lovely rooms are amazing and the grounds picturesque.
If you’re looking for somewhere cosy, comfortable, classic yet modern, somewhere that serves great food and offer fantastic service then don’t bother looking anywhere else- you’ve found what you’re looking for at Le Closier. We stayed with Reg and Sue for 3 nights to do some cycling in the region, they were amazing and attended to our every need including renting us bikes, sorting our routes, cooking fantastic meals, having tea and freshly baked cake waiting for us when we returned and generally were amazing. We had the best service we’ve ever had anywhere.
We stayed here kind of randomly on our way to and from a week's skiing in the Alps. The owners Reg and Sue are incredible BnB hosts and made us feel welcome and at home in this incredible old farmhouse from the word go. The rooms are wonderful. Large, with really nice beds and really cool bathrooms. We stayed as a couple and it was great, but you could also easily fit several friends comfortably into one of them. The setting is really impressive with the Pyrenees towering in the background and the giant windows in the breakfast area are just spectacular. We loved every aspect of this BnB and will stay there whenever we're in area. While we're not big cyclists, I can totally see this as being a perfect base to do rides in the area. As an American, this is EXACTLY what I picture when I think "Old Europe." I absolutely loved this place and look forward to seeing it again soon!…
