Six of us stopped on June 28 because I had "mussels normandy" at this location several years ago and they were wonderful. So I dug in and "crunch",they were very small and sandy. I tried to eat more, but it was horrid! The owner apologized and said this seemed to be a problem this year and did not charge me...

We had 2 rooms for several nights in August. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Our kids loved the pool. The owners were friendly and good with kids. We would stay there again. We had the included breakfast and it was perfect for us. We ate dinner there one night, it was good. Right on the beach so it...

A somewhat overpriced hotel on the sea front of Omaha Beach - in fact a great location. It is almost two things - a tourist hotel cashing in on tourists like us - and in the evening the restaurant became a locals bar where we felt somewhat less welcome. Our room was very basic and is featured on the TripAdvisor...

Stopped at the D-Day House, for a quick lunch whilst visiting Omaha Beach and the associated sites. I suppose the name gives it away and the establishment is there to cater for the inevitable hordes descending on the area. Still for a cold beer and some simple food and plenty of outside seating D-Day house is fine.

A friendly restaurant that caters for large groups or couples, the food is fast turn around and certainly not an occasion meal but it's fairly priced with friendly staff in a great location with parking.

I traveled with a WW11 veteran ( he was not at Omaha Beach during the war). The room was small, poorly ventilated, had a disinfectant smell. We ate dinner in the attached restaurant. The food was not so great. A husband and wife own this establishment. Her name is Florence. After we had dinner they invited us to the bar...

We didn't stay at this guest house but ate lunch there. The staff are friendly and approachable and the service is fast. Free Wi-Fi also helped a lot after a number of failures at other hotels and restaurants. This place is right on Omaha Beach and is a nice place to stop after a tour.

Right on Omaha Beach! I was there for the DDay 70th so the owners were obviously working twice as hard and still able to accommodate me. Jean-Jaques, his wife and the staff were kind and knew enough english to help me out. Walk up the hill to the museum..downstairs for meals, which were affordably priced. I stayed in room 4...

We made reservations for this small quaint hotel about two months before we planned to arrive. I sent an email with our reservation details and quickly received a response that my reservation was confirmed. Two rooms were held for us (one for a friend) and I was told that no credit card was needed, just pay when we check out!...

The room we had was a basic room. It had a small TV. There was a steam heat radiator, but had no fan. The bath was cold without leaving the door open to get some heat in it. There is no A/C, nor did it have a clock/alarm or phone. The shower was open to the rest of the bath....
