We are four friends who converged from London and Manchester at The Lodge Ruddington to have a relaxing overnight stay and a good catch up. We were so impressed and delighted with The Bollinger Suite, which is spacious and very comfortable and with Peter's hosting. Really spot-on for this kind of gathering and we would happily return again and again. We enjoyed two walks locally - one at the country park and one at the Attenborough wildlife lake area.

This is a beautiful luxury B&B away from all the madness of normal life. We were in the Bollinger Suite which is spacious and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious and Peter was the perfect host. Will definitely visit again.

I’ve just returned from a couple of days here where I just wanted to relax and rest. What I got was exactly that and more. This place is an absolute gem and what makes it so fantastic is the owner Peter. From the minute I got there until the minute I left he made me feel like I was royalty. He ensured I had everything I could ever need at all times, checked on me throughout and cooked me some beautiful meals. I’ve travelled all over the world and I have never experienced service and warmth like this. I upgraded to the Bollinger Suite and words cannot describe how beautiful it is. It is so spacious and tranquil and the different items dotted around were fascinating. The huge windows and view across the golf course were spectacular and the garden at night looked beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble and I loved listening to jazz whilst eating my meal. Peter really is a fantastic cook. If you want to just get away from it all and feel like you’re far away from reality then I could not recommend this place more. I was sad to leave and will be booking again soon. Thank you Peter and thank you for making my time so lovely.
