We booked three nights as we have friends nearby and wanted to spent time with them and see their new holiday home. When booking, I enquired about a late departure or maybe additional day and was told at first we could leave at 11. I founf in terms and conditions that you could pay £10 and leave at 2pm. At first the lady who was emailing said they do not do this so I screenshot the page to her, she the. Agreed they would do this. Anyway on Sunday, we decided that we could stay another night and as we were out I emailed to ask if we could add a night to our bookinh and I would pop in the office and pay on Monday morning. Then at 9.45am on Monday morning, the Warden knocked and said we could have another night but needed to move pitch. There must have been 100 spare pitches and when I asked why, they said a seasonal had booked online wanting our pitch which was the same as many others. The said lady called me and reiterated this and on asking why she couldn’t move them tothe pitch next door or other pitch, she refused. I asked her to call and ask if they were bothered if it was B10 or B11 but she refused. We felt that they had not been reasonable or helpful so packed to go. In the meantime, the warden came and said we had to go within half an hour, we were hitching up at this point so there really was no need. It’s a shame, it’s a nice site but we will not return.

Thank you for a great weekend- our accommodation was clean and beautifully presented. The location is 3 minutes from the beach which we enjoyed every day with our dog. The on-site fish and chips van is top quality and all the staff are very friendly.

We stayed in the Sensation Lodge for 3 nights for a coastal weekend away. Before arriving, I messaged the team via email with a couple of basic questions and they were extremely efficient in responding. They even offered to instruct the cleaners to clean our lodge first as we would be arriving earlier which was greatly appreciated. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly member of the reception team who immediately checked us in and gave us all the relevant info about the park. She radioed to see if our lodge was ready as we were 2 hours earlier than the usual check-in time of 4pm, and as promised it had been cleaned first! This was extremely impressive and a very kind gesture on the park's part so this was greatly appreciated as we got extra time in the lodge on our first day. The lodges are located in Kingfisher Field, which I believe has only recently been opened, and come with their own individual car parking spaces which was very handy. When we opened the door to our lodge we were instantly taken aback by how spacious and clean it was. It really gave us the wow factor! By far the cleanest accommodation we have stayed in on a holiday park. Thank you to AJ for cleaning our lodge to such a high standard. The Sensation lodge features a large living and kitchen area, along with a master double bedroom with shower and en-suite, a separate twin bedroom, and an additional bathroom with shower and bath facilities, all of which are extremely modern. The outside of the lodge has a large verandah with table and chairs, and the hot tub is connected to the verandah by a couple of steps and shaded glass surrounding it for privacy. The hot tub was very roomy, and extremely clean. Throughout our stay, the park wardens checked the hot tub twice a day to ensure that it was safe for use; again demonstrating the high attention to detail and care that this park have for their visitors. All staff we spoke to were extremely friendly and efficient, and always asked us how our stay was going which was incredibly pleasant to see. The rest of the park consists of camping and touring grounds which were also kept extremely tidy, and when we walked through the park to the beach we noticed there were ample toilet and shower facilities for these visitors, as well as plenty of bins for rubbish disposal. There was not a single piece of litter left around the entire park it was spotless. All areas of the park are lovely and peaceful: the only sounds you hear are birds flying across and ducks it is super relaxing, perfect for an escape from busy working life. The beach at the bottom of the park is stunning. It doesn't feel as if you are in the UK at all! This is accessed by a set of steps that although famously called "cardiac hill" by previous visitors actually weren't too bad for us. The beach stretches for miles and we walked 4 miles towards Pakefield one morning and it was such beautiful scenery. The beach is very quiet though so if you are looking to pitch up on the beach for the day with a picnic and chairs, I would recommend visiting one of the surrounding areas such as Lowestoft beach like we did which has much more going on. This is just a 10 min drive away with ample parking. There isn't much located within walking distance from the park, so if you are looking to be able to go out for walks without having to drive anywhere then you only really have the beach to use. There is however a retail park 5 mins away which has some supermarkets and other shops, as well as the town of Lowestoft and Africa Alive located 5-10 mins drive away too so plenty of options for everyone. There were only a couple of negatives that we encountered during our stay: 1) We found it very difficult to get comfortable when sleeping in the lodge due to the matteresses being very thin and 'springy'. This may just be personal opinion but we didn't sleep as nicely as we do at home and did find it very hard to sleep for the duration of our stay because of this. 2) Probably the most significant issue that we encountered was on the Saturday night when the lodge's fire alarm went off for no reason at 2am in the morning! This was extremely distressing and we had read reviews mentioning this issue previously so it may be worth the team checking these out. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hollies and we were super impressed by all aspects of the park. We would happily consider returning in the future.

I'm normally a remote and rough it camper, so this was my first "site" experience and I loved it here. The welcome at reception was brilliant with local knowledge and recommendations. We were left to choose our own pitch (no electric hook up) which was great and we were a 2-3 min walk from a stunning beach. The campsite has everything you could need and some of your favourite shops just a walk or short car ride away. The showers and facilities were clean, in great working order and constant hot water. If I'm being fussy, there could be more toilets and showers and a charging/freezer shack in each "zone" - these would just make life easier. Generally people on the site stick to the rules, but some better enforcement of the 11pm noise curfew wouldn't go amiss as some people seem not to understand that they have neighbours! These are minor points though - great place, facilities and location. Big thumbs up.

We had a fabulous week here staying in Jasmine. Check in was super easy and the staff really friendly. We had everything we needed. Hot tub and own private garden with BBQ was so good. Walking around the site was nice too. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves very much. Small tip- Bring a small tv with you if you have space, we did after reading a comment about it as no tv in bedroom which would of been helpful with 2 older lads gaming on their Xbox they bought with them in the evening’s!!! Everything else was good

We stayed in the camping fields on our visit and found a level and clean site offering amazing facilities and value for money. The site has steps leading to the stunning beach and has good access to local shops, supermarkets and nearby attractions. Access is via a coded gate which adds to the secure feel of this site. Highly recommended and we will be visiting again.

Lovely camp site really well kept and beautiful area. Toilets and showers lovely and clean. A food van is available sometimes but shops just up the road. You have to be fit to get up and down the steps to the beach and there is a dangerous cliff to be aware of but such a beautiful place.

A nice weekend ruined by unbelievably rude staff who don't talk to each other! My family and I came to the end of a lovely weekend at the Hollies, with us all saying we would definitely return as we are often in the area. When checking in, my wife asked if we could have a later departure, to which she was told you can stay until 1 PM and are free to park in the carpark after that. All great we thought until 10:05 am on the day of departure when a Warden asked if we were packing up yet? I replied we will be but we were told we could stay until 1 pm. The Warden then left and we thought nothing more of it. Around 30 minutes later the Warden returned with a colleague, who (a little less politely) said that we couldn't stay, as the boss had said we had to be out no later than 11:30 and they wouldn't have said we could stay any later! As this was not true, my wife went to the office to clear things up. On speaking with the Manager/Owner my wife was accused of being a liar and was not spoken to very politely! Unbelievable!!! Unfortunately the lady who was there at check in wasn't around. The site itself is very well kept and in a nice location, however if this is how they treat paying customers, then they don't deserve to have any! Unfortunately, we will not return after this. We have been to many campsites over the past few years and always respect and follow the rules 100%. This is the first time we have ever experienced anything like this. Be warned as it was not only us who had issues!
