We recently spent 2 weeks in this hotel and overall we really enjoyed our stay.
Lots of choice at the breakfast buffet
Garden pools (nice & quiet)
Safe in the room
Lovely scenery on the beach
We stayed at the Cabana Type room. The back door's key was broken, they just tried to adjust but not solved the problem. It should be replace to the new key box. The air-conditioning was a bit noisy. Anyway overall we enjoyed the moments there....More

Last week in September is Qld school holidays but we have been there on school holidays with my Grandson and it was fine. As it is not the cheapest hotel does not seem to attract a lot of families. I would book a sea side tropical terrace and they are normally quiet. You could ask for a room not in the main foot traffic area.
