I took my wife for a surprise weekend here to 'take the waters'. Situated as close as it gets from the Termas (Baths) the hotel is like stepping back in time to when service was personal and hotels were family run. In a way we felt like we were intruding on a private party such is the level of repeat... More

Stayed here on an unplanned stop on a solo motorbike tour. Brilliant. Quiet, comfortable, private parking. Fantastic attention to detail - with all products in rooms - even shoe cleaner (for those grubby biker boots, ha). And also from the very attentive staff. Couldn't have been nicer. Amazing dinner that just kept coming. For this kind of luxury you'd pay... More

Beautiful boutique hotel overlooking the Vouga river, ideal for a romantic or family weekend getaway. This cozy hotel is run by a local family who, true to Portuguese hospitality, did their utmost to welcome us and make us feel at home. We dinned at the hotel's restaurant whose local produce, traditional menu and wine list had us coming back the... More

We stayed here for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. This is a hotel located on a beautiful river, with Swan's just hanging out doing what they do. The hotel which I thinkdates back to the 18th century was so beautiful and comfortable. The young man who greeted us was a charm. He spoke English, he's been... More

Though in a hot springs spa and a very popular one, this small hotel is a very friendly and comfortable place where you can stay for a few days, enjoy the quiet and beautiful views along the Vouga river making it the center for exploring around, walking or visiting other sites in the vicinity. Impecable service, daily home cooked food... More

The hotel is in the spa centre just opposite the main historical spa house. The river bellow windows is pleasant and walks around are marvellous. The staff is willing and helpful despite some problems in English for some staff members.

“If you drive down the main street of the small town there is a hotel with a really first class restaurant. They had a buffet and it was packed with seniors who were on a package tour of the region. They were all Portuguese! The food was reallt first class and the price was ccheap! I think 10 euro without drinks. The hotel is beautiful and in season every expensive but seems worth it! I can't think of the name, but the building is pink!!!!!”
