The views! I could stay at this place again just because of the views! The place was out of a fantasy book. The hotel is located in a very secluded area. It's a good 30 min drive through the mountains to get to Oludeniz and the party area so keep this in mind if this is important to you. We loved the fact that it felt secluded and the amazing Kabak beach being a 30 min walk away(you could also take advantage of the shuttle service to the beach if hiking is not your thing). The hotel itself was relatively small but with a lovely atmosphere and an amazing crew that ensured guests felt at home. We had dinner every night as part of our package (half board) and the freshness of the seafood was incredible as well as the service. I was lucky enough to spend my birthday at this place and it's one to be treasured forever. Rooms were spacious and we had a small private porch with some amazing views. The hotel has an infinity pool looking out to the ocean and mountains. I wouldn't change a thing about our stay. This was truly one of the most magical places in all of Turkey.

Arrived at this beautiful place at 10pm, we were greeted by lovely kind friendly staff, who didn’t hesitate to make us a bite to eat. Our bungalow was number 1, spotlessly clean, very spacious, bed was very comfortable, with beautiful views, bathroom had a very powerful shower. Bungalow was cleaned spotlessly every morning, with tea and coffee topped up and clean fresh towels every morning.
The views at Avalon are breathtaking, such a relaxing beautiful place, reviews we read before hand about the road leading up to Avalon, made us a bit weary, the journey up tho, was completely fine, not as made out to be on some reviews. Roads and views were great, passed butterfly island on the way up.
The pool looking over the ocean is priceless with a lovely cool shower at the side of pool, sun beds are very comfortable. Pool area always kept spotlessly clean.
The staff at Avalon are so kind and helpful, nothing is to much trouble, always there to assist you with journey bookings and excursions, and also make great cocktails(bonus).
The food is lovely and lots to choose from.
Breakfast is a variety of items , very fresh and plenty of it, omelettes are delicious.
Sahar beach in Kabak is 10 minutes walk down the mountain with a bus to bring you back up if needed, beach is beautiful, lovely bar area and mini market, beach also has taxi boats to Oludeniz.
We can’t recommend Avalon enough. If you are looking for relaxation with breathtaking views Avalon is the place for you.

Stayed there with my fiance. From their web page rooms looks gorgeous, looks like close to the beach. And food so-so. However, the reality is totally different than what you see in their web. First of all, I do not understand how come that much excellent reviews.
Their rooms are extra-ordinarily outdated and smelly (comes from outdated cheap sewage system). No food at all. You may stay all day hungry until their evening uneatable food. With such price you're not even allowed to drink your wine or so in a real glass next to the pool. And so on. Uneducated staff & management.

Down at the beach more stayable places.

Having stayed at similar type accommodation, this was undoubtedly a cut above the rest. Bungalow room more than adequate but what made the stay - other than the view, pool etc - was the food, service and general ambience. It might be a pre-book limited dinner menu (changing daily) but what is served is of an excellent standard. Breakfasts extraordinarily good. What really gives the clue as to why Avalon is so good, is that the staff have been there for many seasons. Unobtrusive but attentive they make the place. A first rate experience.

Stayed a night here while away on holiday and this is the most amazing place we have been to. The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious. The food and service from the staff are second to none and the views from the infinity pool are sensational. Would highly recommend this place

The staff at hotel are so kind and welcoming very professional. They try to accommodate to your needs as much as possible, and are willing to help you plan for your taxis and recommend activities. The breakfast is always fantastic, quite a lot of options for dinner as well. Everything is so quiet and relaxing you could sit out at the pool tanning, reading or swimming all with incredible views of the mountains and ocean. Each room has incredible views of the mountains and ocean that you get to wake up to every morning. The hotel also has the cutest, two black cats and dog they are the sweetest beings ever !!

Visited for one night, just wished I had booked longer! Pool and views were amazing, we had lunch there it was plentiful. Evening meal meal and breakfast were again very appetising and plentiful. The staff could not be more polite and pleasant. Will definitely return.

Visited in September having previously visited Kabak area.
The hotel pool area is stunning with great views over the bay.

The rooms are a little dated and no complimentary water or anything.

Food was ok nothing special.

Staff were friendly but quite guarded and not overly chatty.

Pool area was very quiet as there is no music, I understand some people prefer this but I prefer not to have to listen to other people's conversations. Low background music would work better.

We stayed on a Friday night and unfortunately I could not get to sleep until after 2am due to very loud music coming from a nearby hotel/bar. I did mention this to a staff member and got a shrug of the shoulders.

I paid £170 for one night and I really don't think it was worth it. Sorry.

This hotel is beautiful and is surrounded by the prettiest views no matter where in the hotel you are, the view from our room was amazing. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and provided amazing service every night and are always so kind. The food was great with plenty of options to chose from and different options every night. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more as it was so relaxing and in such a beautiful place and the staff really put in the effort to make you enjoy your stay and are there to help whenever you need it.

I saw the Dolmus near there last year but I can not confirm this. We used a return private transfer.

Correct, we stayed at Kabak Avalon bungalows and the shuttle stop was about a block away (dirt road) from the hotel. We chose to hike to the beach every time so didn’t really get to use the shuttle, but we did see it running to and from the beach. The hike to the beach from the place we were staying at was a 20-25 walk. It wasn’t necessarily an easy hike specially on the way back to hotel (uphill) but if you are into hiking It’s certainly doable.
