My husband and I had an excellent stay at Turks Hall. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Caroline and David made us feel at home thanks to lots of helpful tips about the area and also thanks to the nice touches such as small bottles of sherry in our room and homemade compote, granola and smoothies for breakfast. It was a great base for exploring Bruton and we definitely plan on staying again.

Caroline and David are the perfect hosts! The room was very comfortable, lovely personal touches (like home made flapjacks in a jar), and lots of books. Very cosy. And the breakfast was delicious and healthy, I will definitely be visiting again!

I decided to take a last minute trip to Somerset, and Caroline and David were kind enough to give me the warmest of welcomes into their home. Young solo travelers are sometimes frowned upon but they really made me feel like I was just one of their grandchildren paying a visit. Breakfast was very nice and healthy. The bedroom was very comfy and well equipped. And they both went out of their way to help me explore the area. This is British hospitality at its finest, unobtrusive unbidden and homey.

We had a wonderful stay at Turks Hall. The breakfast was delicious, and the coffee and smoothies were perfect. The hosts were incredibly attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was enjoyable. Their warm hospitality and genuine care made us feel really valued as guests. We hope to be back soon!

A lovely home where I was welcomed and looked after like family. Very private and comfortable room with ensuite. Delicious breakfast. Coffee machine and tea facilities in the bedroom, including yummy flapjacks. Will definitely be going back.

We will be back! Why? Caroline and David made our three day break in Bruton special by welcoming us into their home and ensuring our stay was a wonderful experience. A superb breakfast of homemade muesli, granola, compote, smoothies and excellent coffee followed a comfortable night's sleep in a warm and cosy room. Thanks to our hosts thoughtfulness we enjoyed a day at The Newt and listening to their recommendations, we had excellent meals at The Chapel and a fun evening at The Pickled Pear. Do go, there is a lot to see in the area and Turks Hall is the perfect place to stay.

Turks Hall is the delightful, warm and comfortable home of Caroline and David, who welcomed me so warmly when I arrived very tired after a long week. The bed was wonderful, a lavish and big bath to soak in when I got back after a long day and the breakfast was absolutely superb, with homemade compote, muesli and fresh fruit, warm croissants and the most perfect coffee! I will definitely be back - Caroline is the sort of person we all want in our lives; caring and interested. Just perfect - Thank you so much!
