Booked for Mother's Day meal with family. Was 3 course set menu and priced more expensive than regular sunday lunch 3 courses on any other sunday and therefore expected more choice and quality than regular sunday. However, only two meat options (beef and turkey) and three starters, so if anything, menu simplified. Meal ruined because overwhelming burnt taste throught meal...

Visited the restaurant for Mothers's Day lunch and have been for meals many times in recent years. Place was very busy which is a good sign. It's a nice cosy restaurant but as it is still march the fire door was left open by diners accessing the beer garden and this ensured a very strong draft through the restaurant. This...

Went here last night following the Rugby, we had a table for five and were attended too by a very pleasant young lady. The food was absolutely...

Usually a lovely meal here. But this time the food was undercooked Unfortunately nobody came around to check If the meal was OK. When pointed out to a member of staff the response was defensive with no apology. Such a shame as we usually love it here.

Our table was booked for 7pm and when we arrived we were the only customers in the pub, which made the atmosphere a bit flat, but we were...

Spent an afternoon in the beer garden after a walk through sirhowy valley park. Lovely spot, shaded and sunny areas. Food was delicious- I recommend the 1/2lb burger. Dog friendly, child friendly. Plenty of free parking. Good service. Would go again soon!
