We had 16 friends all ages & ability. Pete and Inga were amazing, they were truly welcoming and made the safety bits fun. When on the water they were attentive, giving attention & guidance when needed but allowed the kids and adults to play. Amazing setting would thoroughly recommend. Even returning our wetsuit left behind above and beyond!

Highly recommend for young families or parents who are outnumbered by their kids. Set in a idyllic location with access to remote and beautiful country. Pete is passionate about his craft and makes the activities inclusive, fun and enjoyable.

We stayed just one night, but that was enough to experience the laid back, welcoming, atmosphere that this hostel offers. It really offers the opportunity to 'get away from the rat race' with its quiet setting and far reaching views. The hostel is basic but clean. We booked to go canoeing and climbing, activities which were organised by Pete for myself, my husband and 2 children (9 and 6yrs) in a fun but safe way. Thanks again Pete, we'll be back!

What a week we had staying at the yha Llanddeusant. We booked an all inclusive week break through arc adventures which included all our food and activities. We took the children, two boys 8 and 12. They loved it! Activities were fun packed, including caving, river scrambling, climb/abseil and water sports. All the kit for activities was provided and in good clean condition. Accommodation was standard yha but clean and tidy throughout and set in beautiful rolling countryside- the sunsets are beautiful to watch in peaceful surroundings. We were well fed with three (from scratch) home cooked meals every day- they were delicious. Would we go again? Absolutely!! The staff were lovely and accommodating and we had the best time.

Based in an idyllic location between the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons yet close enough to get to the Gower Peninsula for beach days. We were camping with beautiful views towards farmland and the mountains and access to the YHA Llanddeusant's self catering kitchen and very clean showers and loos. We tried out Arc Adventure's Target Sports with another family and had a fantastic afternoon with air rifles, archery and axe-throwing under the competent and entertaining guidance of Pete, the hostel's manager - a multi-talented outdoor pursuits leader. Wonderful location for walking, watersports, cycling, mountaineering and just plain old chilling out at the end of a busy day. A lovely holiday, thanks Arc and YHA. Arc also offer a fully inclusive deal at amazing rates with adventures every day and a flexible schedule.
