We stayed at this hotel for three nights prior to a cruise. This an outstanding hotel on a site with lots of history. Very unique rooms. No negatives. Outstanding and helpful staff. Also, if you're here on a Friday night we recommend their seafood night....More

We spent a night here at the end of a sailing holiday before flying home the next day. It's a beautiful hotel. The staff took the time to allocate me the room 'Hardy' as that is my surname which was a lovely and memorable touch....More

There is no denying that this hotel is beautiful but there is NO sound proofing. We had a room above reception with another room above us. We could hear everything from the phone ringing downstairs to staff change overs and every noise from other occupants....More
