We love, love, love this place! Just returned from our third visit to Captain Don's and will definitely be going back. We book as a package, so I will address each element. Accommodations: The Jr Suites are basic but spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is convenient to dive dock, boats, lockers, bar & restaurant. All the units have an...

We were staying at a place next door and decided to eat there for dinner the first night. Service was poor - food mediocre.. I had fresh catch and husband had a pork chop which waiter described as ribs. My margarita was a sweet pre-mix and the Chardonnay was a large poor but icky taste. There were lots of overcooked...

Been here four times and come there to repeat. Fine stay in detached cottages for 4 people. All windows have screens and all rooms have separate air conditioning. The cottage has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen and a large covered terrace. There is a good restaurant along the water with a bar and seating area. The dive center...

We spent a week here on a diving trip. The bungalow type rooms were clean. Breakfast was included and was buffet style. We also ate dinner and lunch here a few times and it was also good. The diving from their shore was great. We also did boat dives from the pier here. They supplied tanks for our shore diving...

This was our third time here, and it still meets expectations and does the job! Breakfasts are very good, the rooms are clean and the ocean front junior suite is roomy and is truly ocean front. The highlight of Captain Don's Habitat is the dive operation - friendly, efficient, helpful and knowledgeable dive masters who know and respect the reef...

My wife and I recently stayed at Captain Don's Habitat and had an OUTSTANDING vacation. If you can swing a slightly higher price we HIGHLY recommend going for the Junior Suites - They're fantastic. Quiet, peaceful and you have your own covered deck/room view only feet from the ocean. You also have a fantastic sitting area right on the water...

I've stayed at Capt Don's about 30 times in the last 10 years. The dive operation has always been very good. Several of the divemasters have been there since I've been going there and know the sites intimately. The rooms are well kept, staff helpful, and the house reef is great. I have stayed at a couple of other properties...

I just came back from a week at Captain Don's. The staff took great care of us from the very first night. Our plane arrived late and when we got to the front desk they suggested we stop at the restaurant to order some sandwiches and then check in. The restaurant staff was stayed late to accommodate us. We stayed...

The property is in decline. Rooms were clean. However, on the couple of nights when we had rain, the roof to our bungalow leaked with water dripping on my head while I slept. Grounds once were well kept but beds are full of weeds though some staff was beginning to clean the beds near the end of our week long...

We stayed next door at Buddys Dive resort on an RCI timeshare exchange so we could not stay at Cpt. Don's. Prior to the trip I had heard great things about Cpt. Don's and the history of Don and the resort so I knew I wanted to check them out during my stay. I checked the ala carte prices for...
