Lovely tropical garden with cabins spread out over the property. Each cabin has a porch with hammock and sitting area. We had our own kitchen to make some breakfast. Nice food trucks are nearby or great restaurants in town. The bed in our cabin was nice and big.

Just returned from our 1 week stay in a Deluxe cottage (cottage #5) at BambooBali and would love to return right away as we were truly welcomed at this resort.
The cottages are tastefully decorated, have a sufficient kitchen and on top an amazing bathroom. It was very relaxing to sit outside on our porch and use the BBQ a few times to have a relaxing dinner.
The small resort has an amazing garden with a big variety of plants and flowers and as a result there are small birds and butterflys all over the place. In addition, the resort provides a diving gear rinse & dry facility which came in very handy to rinse our diving gear.

What a beautiful place to stay! The resort is beautifully decorated, has a really chill ambiance and feels cozy. Our cottage was really great: clean, nicely decorated and tidy. The air conditioning was also nice. The outdoor shower was a nice experience and we made full use of the bbq that was part of our cottage. A nice surprise was that the cat from Bamboo Bonaire came to visit us regularly and loves being petted. The Bamboo staff is very nice and helpful. Receptionist Felicia helped us very well with making reservations at restaurants, suggestions for places to visit and even printing the PLC for our next trip to Curacao was also no problem at all. The breakfast at Bamboo itself was also very well taken care of and delicious. Because only a maximum of 16 people could sit in the restaurant, it felt very cozy and small-scale and everything was freshly made in front of us.

Warm welcome when we arrived
We were looking for a luxurious and tropical stay: just perfect. Booked the honeymoonsuite (with amazing jacuzzi), had some wifi problems and got a free longer stay in the suite (and it was actually our honeymoon => just lovely!)
Good rinsing station for dive gear
Ordered the breakfast 1 time: good, but expensive for what you get…(wanted more bread, meats and fresh fruits
Reservations for restaurants can be made at the reception: what a service :)!
The extra’s are amazing at Bamboo: coolbox for drinks after diving, Acces to BBQ, hair dryer,….
Enjoyed the quiet and private atmosphere as newly weds
Thanks!

Dear Eline and Joachim, we are delighted to read that your dream honeymoon came true! Our new Honeymoon Suite is just perfect and offers luxury with total privacy where you enjoy, in your own words, amazing jacuzzi :-) Thanks for your feedback regarding the breakfast service offered by our on site restaurant Chefs. We have shared your feedback and they already picked up on your tip! Thank you for your great compliment on our service and extra's! We love to serve our guests in any way that makes them feel special. We look forward to welcome you next time! With very warm regards, Brigitte & Felicia, Bamboo Bonaire Team

+1
This is a beautiful resort with lovely gardens and amazing rooms. We had the deluxe cottage and loved the room, the private garden and shower and the immense bathroom. Even though the resort is close to the road, the way the gardens are kept means that you barely notice any traffic. The partnership with a diving company means that all of that side is made easy with the cleaning facilities and the on site tanks. We also had breakfast at chefs every morning where the staff were particularly helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was perfect. Our room was very clean and very large and we loved the outdoor shower, never even used the shower inside! Kitchen was stocked properly with utensils. The hotel grounds were immaculate and well designed. As we were here for scuba diving, we appreciated the tanks being set very close for loading and unloading to our truck, and the gear rinse area was well set up. All of our dealings with the staff were pleasant as well! The breakfast at the Chefs restaurant was just right but the dinner at Chefs was absolutely wonderful. It was nice that the hotel saves space for hotel guests as Chefs is usually booked months in advance. We will definitely recommend Bamboo Bonaire and stay there again when we come back to Bonaire.

We loved Bamboo Bonaire. It’s a quiet place to retreat to between dives.
The Deluxe Bungalow was quite big. We didn’t see a need for booking a fancier cottage. We loved having our own kitchen and our own space to rinse our dive gear and hang it to dry.
Management is super responsive and helpful.
One downside: while cleanliness was good overall, the floor in our bungalow was quite dirty. I ended up washing my feet several times a day. It would be nice to have the floors mopped with the every-other-day cleaning that takes place.
The resort is small and meant for people who like some quiet and privacy, so you’re not as likely here (as you would be at bigger places) to make new friends.
Overall, an easy five out of five stars.

Cute hotel, great staff, loved the Honeymoon suite. Be sure to get a reservation at Chefs restaurant! We took advantage of the affiliation with VIP diving for gear rental, guided dive, and on site unlimited air. We booked it all with a simple package deal that included a pickup truck for the week. Debbie at the front desk was super helpful! She made dinner reservations for us many nights. She also talked us into visiting Lac Bay where we got lunch at sebastians on the beach then learned to wind surf with a beginner lesson. She also hooked us up with a water taxi to Klein Bonair Island where they will drop you off up current and you can snorkel 45 mins down to the main beach. We saw a HUGE turtle!

Stayed 10 days.
Positives: good size room, private, peaceful.
Nice balance of indoor/outdoor space
Well kept grounds, nice staff who are helpful.
Superior room has outdoor garden and showers (private, walled off), a small kitchen, memory foam bed, fans, good ductless ac, places to eat inside snd outside, place to sunbathe in private, a nice magnesium plunge pool (think large hot tub without heat), lots of well tended plants, a gas grill, a hammock, and a porch.
The onsite restaurant, bonaire chefs, has a varying wed-sat evening, 7-10, reservation required prix fixe that is excellent, relaxed and elegant without being stuffy. 16-20 people per dinner, mixture of mostly american and dutch. You should contact before coming to the island to get a reservation.
Negatives: roads are bumpy, i would recommend pick up truck, not just because of resort, but roads in bonaire in general.
Had more mosquitoes than expected, again it was a month after the wet season. Mosquitos abatement occurred during the stay and helped.
Overall recommended without reservation. If you are looking for a romantic getaway or a peaceful stay, this is a great choice.

It is very much appreciated :-) Wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the serene atmosphere and amenities, like the private outdoor shower with magnesium plunge pool, well-tended grounds and the on-site restaurant offering a great fine dining experience. Thank you for sharing your tips regarding island transportation. A pick up truck is very common and handy to explore the island and we are happy to arrange this for our guests. I cannot rave about Bamboo Bonaire enough. This upscale and very private adult only boutique hotel checks all the boxes. Our room was beautifully furnished and spacious, and the entire place has detailed touches that turn it into an oasis of calm. The staff was helpful from the moment we booked and throughout our stay. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and look forward to returning in August. Bamboo Bonaire partners with VIP diving for air to be delivered, a huge plus for diving guests. Our visit could not have been more perfect.

Yes, the room we were in did have twin bed configurations! It was one of the cottages with our own hot tub/garden area.
Yes, there is a lot of spots for snorkeling. You can try Captain Don's Habitat (opposite Bamboo Bali resort), very easy access to water using wooden platform and stairs). The same in Buddy Dive resort, so much to see under water there!!! Go for it ;-)
And the winner is ....... Inge!!! 5 Feet on the nose ;)
Well done.
Hi David and CC,
Thank you for your request.
We would love to have you all as our guests but I think it will be to expensive for you because our pricing is for short term rental.
I would recommend to contact a real estate broker and see what they have for you ( house)
Kind regards,
Anno
