We were recommended Ramiros case from 2 friends of mine, they were not wrong. The room has everything you need, a comfortable bed and a large wardrobe with adjacent bathroom. But the real positive of this is Ramiro, he is very kind and helpful in organising casas in different cities, travel to the different cities and taking us on a...

A Totally Different Outlook Since Meeting Ramiro… My Friend and I just returned from Cuba. We booked a short trip to make some contacts for long term vacations. We are both retired and my friend was recovering from surgery and was walking with a cane. We booked a stay in Varadero then made the connection to Ramiro. On such short...

My father and I stayed at Ramiro’s house for 11 nights at the end of November 2015. It was the most rewarding travelling experience we have had. Ramiro is a very charming and knowledgeable person; he and his son made us feel “at home”. Ramiro’s house is cozy and comfortable, and his cooking is the best, the typical Cuban cuisine....

We stayed in Ramiro's house for 5 nights, then again at the end of our trip, after visiting Vinales and Trinidad. Choosing to stay with Ramiro was an excellent decision. Ramiro is an amazing host, a true pleasure to spend time with. His English is excellent and he is always happy to talk about anything. We learned a great deal...

We stayed in Ramiro's house for 4 nights, it was our first experience in Cuba and we were not sure what to expect, we enjoyed staying here. Ramiro and his son are really nice people, warm, willing to share their stories and providing a really good service which adapts to your needs (we were arriving late and leaving late). The...

Ramiro's response (posted by Marshall S.): Thanks for your good comments on my house. As for the parking area, the price is set by the owner of the private parking lot and I don't receive any benefit from the owner. I´m just providing assistance to those who have rented a car so it will not be stolen in the street....

Ramiro's house was fabulous. Ramiro was welcoming , knowledgeable and helpful. He speaks fluent English and is more than happy to show you around and answer your questions. If you're looking for the real Cuba and its people this is the place to go. I highly recommend Ramiro and his home.

We spent five days with Ramiro, and found him extremely helpful throughout. He organised taxis to and from the airport, cooked a full breakfest every morning, gave us good tips regarding cool things to see and do, and even made the effort to buy foods we mentioned. Room included air-conditioning and ensuite, and accomodation is only 5min taxi from city...

Ramiro was extremely helpful with organizing our stay both in Havana and in the country. He makes the best breakfasts and keeps the house very clean. The house is very basic but has all you need. It is located in a nice neighborhood, with a tiny restaurant and a local shop where you can buy water or rum. I recommend...

we had a wonderful stay in Cuba. We started our trip in Havana and booked Ramiros Guesthouse because we found good comments on internet. We thought it would be nice to start at a guesthouse where they speak good English, since my husband doesn't speak Spanish. It was a good decision. The house is very clean, as well as the...

“Most people like to stay in the centre. Be advised that most Habana Vieja casas have toilet and noise issues since Cubans wake up really early, so downtown might not be a place for you if you like to sleep. Ramiros house is in a nice, calm and peaceful neighbourhood.”
