Firstly, a word or two about Cuba. It was with very low expectations that I went to Havana. I just figured that 5 decades of economic sanctions must have laid waste to the economy, and that the island would be in a general state of disrepair. And yes, there is poverty, and yes, Havana is run down in parts, but...

The rooms are in a genuine old building and provide a good feeling for being in Havana. Cleanliness was acceptable, service was acceptable, prices are high. The surrounding of the hotel is very good. However due to the high price and an unrealistic and unacceptable price concept for additional travellers in one room we cancelled the second stay there on...

I just can´t say anything bad about this hotel, except from the price. It is absolutely to pricy. When I compare to other hotels in this part of the world, it is simply to expensive. My experience in Centralamerica is simply you will get more for your money there if you compare. The standards on Cuba isn´t good enough. They...
