We had to change itinerary and dates in the last week and Wilfredo was able to accommodate our changes. He was a wonderful host and prepared breakfast early for us every morning despite having to work in the hospital ICU as well. He even prepared sandwich for us to take to the Varadero airport on our last morning. The house...

We stayed at Wilfredo's house for 4 nights at the beginning of March and are so pleased we stayed at a Casa as opposed to a hotel for our time in the city. Wilfredo couldn't have been more helpful, he emailed us before all we needed to know and even arranged a transfer for us from the airport in a...

This was my first time in Havana, Cuba and I was fortunate to stay in Casa Mer with Wilfredo as our host for 12 nights! From the moment we arrived in Cuba, he was so generous and accommodating, especially when we arrived 2-3 hrs late and he was up past midnight waiting for our arrival! Every morning, Wilfredo was up...

What a wonderful experience we had at Casa Mer, staying for 4 nights last week - a comfortable bedroom with private bath in a quiet & safe neighborhood, yet convenient to Calle 23 and taxis into the city - a grand & delicious breakfast each morning to start our days of exploring just perfectly - guidance from our very warm...

I stayed at Casa Mer for 12 nights this month. Casa Mer was absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was extremely tasty, and there was a lot of it! Wilfredo is the sweetest man, and was very accommodating when we needed breakfast earlier or later in the morning due to classes at the University, or plans for the day, etc. The stay was...

Wilfredo is a surgeon who runs an Air BnB in his spare time. He is friendly, very knowledgeable about his city, engages in conversation which gives you the sense that he truly enjoys having you in his home and getting to know you. The rooms and entire house are very beautifully decorated with objects and furniture from the 1940's. The...

We stayed at Casa Mer for three nights at the beginning of November and loved it. A very safe and stately old residential neighbourhood in Vedado, close to everything. The house is an amazing art deco residence built in the 40's and furnished in the 50's. The hospitality of our host was very special and we recommend Casa Mer to...

I'm planning my trip in Cuba next August and even if I won't stay in Casa Mer (just because I confirmed another casa due to a hurry of having an address to get our visa for the country) I would give my extremely positive feedback for the great willingness of Wilfredo giving me lot of useful informations and for managing...

First time to Havana and was great to stay in a big, beautiful and peaceful place. Great breakfast too. Had to share a bathroom with two other friends, which was not an issue for us. Rooms are cool, even in the hottest days we didn't use AC. Def recomment to stay with this friendly and helpful host. He speaks English...
