Had room 402 with view of the street below. High ceilings and shower had good water pressure and plenty hot! Rooftop breakfast was excellent and the location cant be beat. Pricy but was very happy staying there. For the ladies, yes they have blow dryers in the room.

We arrived in a monsoonal downpour, which was not a great start as the hotel is in a predestrianised area so the taxi could not get within about a five minute walk. Therefore two bedraggled guests arrived at a hotel at 10am to be told we could not check in till 4pm. We went to the roof restaurant for breakfast...

I didn't stay at this hotel, but it was recommended to have a drink (particularly the pina colada) to take in the view. It's a very nice roof bar, we sat ourselves and I got a drink menu because the staff not attentive. We got our orders in, boyfriend got his drink in a normal amount of time. After 10...

While we can't comment on the hotel accommodations, we can say that the rooftop bar with views overlooking Old Havana and the harbor is worth a visit. Unlike some other bars with views, drinks here were a bargain. The mojitos were $3.00 and much better than some other more iconic bars. Hemingway lived in a room on the 5th floor.

Spent 4 nights here in February as part of a wider tour of Cuba. Excellent location in the heart of old Havana. in the pedestrian area, so short walk to hotel, but porters normally meet taxis. Reception was efficient, but lacked warmth. You can change money here, but at about 10% worse rate than a bank or cadeca. Also have...

Place needs better customer service and the room I got didn't have a working Safe, and had spider webs. I had to beg them to come change the sheets since the room felt dusty and smelled like it had been closed off for a while. The beach setting is nice and the events and music are fun.

We arrived here from the Cayo's on the coast at 11.30pm after a long 6 hour transfer from the coast. We were spending two nights here before flying home after three and half weeks travelling round Cuba. We were told that we had the last room as the hotel was full and we were taken to that room that nobody...

Didnt stay here -just stopped in for a drink and wifi. Apparently supposed to be Hemingway's Hideout? but was absolutely awful. Cocktails were very watered down - the pina colada was like dishwater and overpriced. Likewise the mojitos were no where near the standard we had elsewhere in Havana. Don't bother going in for a drink if you only want...

This hotel certainly survives from it links with Ernest Hemmingway, every day from 10- 5 tourists stream through its doors. The room we had 311 had no windows & as we arrived at night were totally shocked the following morning to not have any daylight, we were still in time for breakfast!! The buffet breakfast is served on the roof...

Although we didn't sleep here, we did visit this beautiful old hotel. We browsed around the floors and bars and had lunch on the rooftop restaurant. The floors are really cool with kinda like an inner courtyard in the middle where these long vines are growing all the way down from the top. There is a sky light over it...
