We made the booking by e-mail in perfect english. The very very nice woman hosting us is not speaking a word of it. That was not easy for our first days in Havana. We asked for 2 beds, we got 1 double bed and 1 extra folding bed. Both were not comfortable at all. Breakfast is good. Forget about the...

First of all we were promised a pick up from the airport but nobody turned up, when I questioned this Roberto just shrugged his shoulders, no assistance with luggage also. When I first saw the room I felt totally upset, despite the cheapness it was not up to standard. The shower was not on the wall and had to be...

We really enjoyed our stay here. Nurca, Roberto and the family are great hosts and definitely willing to go the extra mile (even in torrential rain!) The area is very nice, with several restaurants, a salsa night club and an arts club (Fabrica de Arte Havana) practically next door. Our room was spacious and cool, with a convenient little kitchen...

I stayed with Senora Nurca for one week during March 2012. By the end of the week I felt like I was a member of the family. The room I stayed in was huge and the en-suite bathroom was very smart. The family were extremely kind to me and always went out of their way to help me. Casa Calle...
