If you're like me, an American oozing with curiosity about Cuba and traveling there this home stay is a perfect start when arriving in Havana. Rosa or "Mama Rosa" as you will soon call her will receive you with a gleaming smile and a heart of gold. She is just what you need after a long flight and Cuban confusion....

I came to Havana a bit unprepared, but Rosa is very nice and helped me with everything. She is very friendly and I learned a lot about Cuba from her. The best local I met during my trip! She also tries to take care of the travelers, to make sure we have fun and we are safe. The house is...

Rosa goes beyond the duties of a hostess, and this really made my stay in Havana. She provides an orientation to the city and gives lots of useful tips: not just about where to go and what to see, but you really get the sense that she is looking out for your best interests, like a mother away from home....

Stayed here 4 nights, had a great time. Rosa is lovely. Loved her apartment. Gives you a real feel of living like a local. About a 15 minute walk to Old Havana. Breakfast is provided for a charge of 3 cuc which is great. Had my own private room which was even better.

I stayed a few days in Casa de Rosa. I would say this is the best casa experience I have during my travel in Cuba. Rosa is a very sincere person and she treats her guests as friends. Useful travel information and safety advice is provided. The home itself locates at Central Havana, about 20 minutes walk (at least, as...

Altough we stayed only one night because of my wife's allergy for cats in the building; the morning before we left she told us everything we needed to know during our stay in Cuba. She even checked us in at another Casa. I would recommend her just like most reviewers before me.

I have stayed with Rosa 2 nights and it felt like home. It's very central as well (about 15-20 minutes max to old Havana). Definitely a good base there. She can also arrange transfer if you need a taxi to/from the airport, which is really nice when you get first there. I can't recommend Casa de Rosa highly enough.

Cozy, home-like place in central Havana. Room was comfortable, breakfast was good, and there is even Internet connection (not fast and not particularly reliable, but this is not the casa's fault, but the way things are in Cuba). I liked the location, which is not touristy, and a pleasant walk to Old Town. Rosa herself was travelling, but her sister...

Mama Rosa is doubtless the BEST person in La Habana. It is her primary goal to make you feel very comfortable and she is extremely good at it! Best Cuban experience and definitely a must if you are thinking of Bed & Breakfast.

We were very happy to stay to La casa de Rosa. She is very nice, helpfull and this is just 20minutes walk to the center. Nice rooms, clean, and a very nice breakfast. But the best part is how kind and helpful Rosa is, it was a pleasure to stay there.

“Book directly with Rosa, I ended up overpaying as I used hostel bookers. It was the most expensive Casa we stayed in during our Cuba stay.”
