I am astounded of the reviews here and the place itself. This was easily the worst casa that we stayed in during the whole trip. A couple that we met there ending their holidays in cuba said that the quality of the place was 'four to five levels below all other casas' that they have stayed at before. I concure....

i just left Havana after staying 3 nights with Ivan and his family at this home. I had a wonderful, authentic, safe stay in Cuba thanks to this room rental. The room facing the street can be noisy at night (Havana is a lively city!), but if you bring a pair of good earplugs, you'll be fine. The room was...

I've visited Cuba for 3 times (I go again soon), and always stay at Ivan. His Casa is so close to Malecon and city centre. Ivan is very capable and helpful, he can do almost impossible. Rooms are large, big, clean and with new furniture. If u need anything, Ivan can make it.. His home is my second home. U...

Location is in fact perfect! 2 blocks from the Casa de la Musica in the calm area ( relatively to Cuba). San Rafael, the animated street which leads to Obispo in Havana Vieja is 3 Blocks away. The best place from El Malecon and the sea is only 5 blocks away. Location, location, location ... You do not need any...

Assisted by other reviewers, I recently chose to stay with Ivan, Eva and Cristina at their home in Havana. I had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to other travellers. Starting with the large, comfortable rooms (air-conditioned - important in Havana!) and ensuite bathrooms, to the friendly welcome, and then the other excellent services - amazingly tasty and...

The location of this "casa" at Manrique in Centro Habana is ideal for discovering the City. Major sights - like Parque Central, Malecón, China Town, National Art Museum, Old Habana - are all in walking distance. No hazzles with taxis or transportation. The hosts, Christina, Eva and Iván are extremley amiable and obliging. The rooms are clean and minor issues...

And she is happy to offer a coffee for free ;-) perfect location, short walk from the city center, not far from PLaza Vieja The food for breakfast and dinner is just amazing...

He also cooked, picked up at the airport did the daily shopping for fresh fruits and...

This is a very nice place to stay while you are visiting Havana. Good location in central Havana, just 5 minutes walk from central square , with several rooms to rent, runned by Ivan and his family. Rooms are spotlessly clean, traditional cuban colorful ambient. Food is also very good and tasty, especially breakfast with natural fresh fruit juices.
