The hotel is overlooking the old, dirty, neglected harbour part of Old Havana. On the other side is a petrol refinery that emits a huge plume of black smoke ; with the wind in the right direction, you can smell it. But it is only a short and easy walk to the "better" part of Old Havana (few blocks walk...

We were members of a small tour group who rejected the idea of returning to our booked hotel for lunch because of the bad experiences we had there on our first day. Our tour guide contacted Armadores de Santander and had a positive response: of course they would welcome us for lunch. Although they had set up the balcony for...

We stayed at this hotel in Old Havana back in April. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a great patio that overlooks the port of Havana. They also have a cute little bar that is open late. Breakfast was included but was very limited and average (it's hard to find good food in Cuba so don't...

Nice place, well priced, nice rooms and nice staff. Make sure you get the rooms on the 3rd floor with Sea view, they have a huge balcony. Note that the rooms not all have a lot of day light coming in.

The location was good, on the edge of the old town within walking distance to most tourist attractions. The building is an old building which is beautiful from the outside, however our room was old, cramped and damp with a leak in the corner. The air con worked intermittently and the whole hotel ran out of water on 2 days...

Let me get straight to the point to help any potential travelers out there - Pros • Location is awesome. The market is a 2 minute walk down the street (highly recommend this for gifts, cigars, etc) • Breakfast is included • Staff are amazing and extremely helpful especially Onier who was incredible and couldn't do enough for us. He...

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is a short walk to the Old Town area which has plenty to see, and has a nice view of the docks. It's an old building and oddly the rooms don't have windows as far I can tell (ours didn't), but the top floor rooms have a back door that opens onto...

Within walking distance to the market, rum museum and much of Old Havana,we stayed here at the beginning and end of our Cuba tour. It is a beautiful old building. Service was always good, there was always someone at the front desk who spoke English, and the included breakfast was a good start to the day. The first room we...

This hotel is in a great location for exploring Havana. We had a massive room, with a sitting area with a settee and a chair and 2 bathrooms (I think it used to be 2 separate rooms). The only minor fault I could find was that there were no windows so the room was very dark, even with all the...

Despite a mix up on check in, which I am sure my friend will write about, this hotel is nicely positioned for exploring Havana. We had a room on the third floor with access to the terrace which was wonderful although when the door was closed the room was pretty dark. Air con was good and quiet on the low...
