Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Arduy and Anisley were amazing hosts! The place was clean, well air conditioned and felt like home. The position of the flats are situated right in the middle of Old Havana which means that you can save money on taxis because everything is walking distance. Anisley is an amazing host who was very helpful, considerate and responding effectively. The breakfast were delicious too! We would definitely come back again!

A great apartment in the old Havana, the hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly. Everything was sparkling clean and absolutely comfortable. I was treated like a memeber of their family, definitely a recommended place to stay in Havana, it has easy walking access to the Capitolio, Malecon and many other sightseeing spots in the city. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this house. Thanks! :)

Located in the center, room was modern and nice. In the room there is a airco, fridge, bathroom. We bought a breakfest (5CUC) and it was really tasty and big. They organized a taxi to the airport for us. Everything was perfect.

We stayed in these apartments for 2 nights on a visit from Varadero. We were very happy with everything especially the room. We had a triple room with a balcony. Everything was spotlessly clean and the owners were very friendly. My daughter had the second triple room which was a little smaller but fine for a couple of days. The air conditioning was brilliant and the shower was great. We were offered breakfast for 5 cucs and it was very good. You got fruit, bread, cheese and eggs if you want. There was also a big jug of fresh mango juice prepared on the premises. The apartment is literally round the corner from Parque Central, Capitolio and the beautiful Gran Teatro (only 2 cucs to look inside). We caught the hop on hop off bus for 10 cucs at Parque Central which was brilliant as it was very, very hot! Just a little tip if you're visiting from a resort take some WiFi cards with you because we looked for some but couldn't loop find any. If you get on the hop on hop off bus I advise you get off at Revolution Square and go up the Hose Marti statue, it has some fabulous views and amazing pictures of Fidel Castro, Che Guevara and the Pope in Revolution Sq. One last thing don't let the surrounding streets of Abys Casa put you off. No one bothers you and we found it very safe. Enjoy

Stayed for 5 nights with fantastic breakfast. Various 2 bedroom shared apartments in a safe and secure block with a roof terrace. About 4 blocks behind Hotel Inglaterra in the main square. Very clean, plenty of hot water and very friendly.

Aby's Casa is situated in a decrepit street, but don't let this first impression deter you, the house itself is actually quite nice. The rooms were clean and the staff is very friendly. Don't expect a luxury stay, but all the basic needs are provided for. We did have to climb a lot of stairs before reaching are room, not very convenient with heavy suitcases. All the rooms have airconditioning, so that's definitely a plus. We did had some problems with the flushing mechanism of the toilet, but we could fix that easily. The breakfast was simple, but nice: fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, scrambled eggs, bread and cheese. Enough to keep us going until lunch.

The room is very good! Big and very clean, so is the bathroom. The breakfast is great also! The staff is really careful, I just love it! The room with balcony can get a bit noisy due to the unquiet street. Besides it everything went great!

Aby's casa is a overall a blessing and especially for the first timer to Cuba as not only will you'll have access to Wi-Fi inside the building but also have Aby's friends in the building that will try to help you with anything you need. They make breakfast and cost 5 CUC. You will not find a place in Havana or most of Cuba that will have internet, breakfast (optional), and people around to help you with an availability that is almost 24/7 based on when I was there and I've stayed in AirBnBs around the world and Aby's casa holds the crown for the best service ever. The neighborhood the building is in is very safe you can walk late at night (Centro Havana, Habana Vieja, Vedado and some other parts of Habana is safe and even at late night) I would say my opinion is that it is probably safer than all countries in Western Hemisphere and most of Eastern Hemisphere). Logistics: Everything you need is within "walking distance", you will be walking around Centro Habana and Habana Vieja and you'll find anything you need. Close to Floridita bar on the other corner there are Bici-taxis that will ride you around Habana Vieja o Centro Habana, you will also find Classic cars nearby Parque Central where Hotel Inglaterra is located. Overall, the availability of internet inside your room or building which is extremely hard to find over there, the breakfast for 5 CUC (optional), the assistance available if needed ranks this place above most places you will find in the Cuba room/apartment rental totem pole.
