The building entrance is very nice, but looking a little faded. I had a room on the 1st floor, it was a decent size, but had lots of minor, but annoying maintenance issues. The door stuck wen you tried to open and close it. The walls were crumbling (to the point the plaster powder fell off if you touched it)....

The structure of the building is nice but very old and so are the rooms. Low lights, dirty towels and bathrooms, unprofessional service. In the evening water was turned down and we could not shower, they said it was going to be restored in the early morning. The day after there was only cold water and the pressure was still...

Great architecture and location but not worth the price. No top in the bathroom so no possibility to take a bath, All tabs leaking, impossible to turn off the light in the bathroom, lift not working when we were on third floor (79 steps), telephone of the whole hotel not working, no wi-fi, limited poor breakfast, in a noisy surrounding....

If you like to walk this hotel is well positioned for walking old Havana and the bay board walk. Bring good maps with you as hard to find in Havana. Hotel is shabby chic, grand and in bit of a need of an upgrade. However the rooms are clean. The lighting is dark due to lack of light bulbs, bring...

We were staying in Habana Vieja close to the Palacio O Farrell. This is a beautiful hotel with a central patio which is an oasis of calm in Habana Vieja. They have wifi, very good coffee and good cocktails. We went every day to chill out for an hour or so!

This is a beautiful hotel in Havana Viejo, close to lots of action in old town. The rooms however are really run down. Taking a shower required jumping in and out of the water to wash and rinse between really hot and really cold cycles. There was grime and mold in the bathroom. The bedroom was clean. The mattresses were...

It's a beautiful building. But it's a run down hotel. Had no hot or cold water in the room for 3 days and management refused to refund some of the costs. Got stuck in the elevator and noticed notes from past guests who have also been stuck in the same elevator a year ago and it's still not fixed. The...
