My family and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Lea and François' stunning apartment during our visit to Havana, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip! The apartment itself is a gem—beautifully decorated with a modern and elegant touch, featuring spacious bedrooms and a large bathroom. The location could not have been better, situated right in the heart of Old Havana, making it perfect for exploring the city's vibrant streets.
Each morning, we were treated to an incredible breakfast that felt like a feast! Fresh fruit, delicious bread, homemade marmalades, and eggs cooked exactly how we liked them—it was the perfect start to our days.
What made our stay truly special, though, was Lea and François themselves. They were the most gracious and kind hosts, always ready with helpful recommendations and insider tips that made our Havana experience so much richer. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home.

We had a fabulous stay at Suite Havana and it was a perfect base for our family of 5 (with grown up kids). Very cool, stylish and apartment in a very good location for exploring Havana. Great beds, excellent bathroom and a superb breakfast cooked by the charming owners.

I can honestly say, staying at Suite Havana was one of the highlights of our trip to Cuba. The apartment itself is exceptional, you will probably not find nicer accommodation in any Havana hotel. The apartment has been newly renovated, and Lea and Francois are both visual people, an art historian and a furniture designer, so they have created a space that is sophisticated and elegant, mixing a classic Cuban style with a, modern, European style kitchen and fixtures. The kitchen sleek looking, and replete with all the essential appliances you might need. Plenty of plates and glassware in the walk-in closet in the kitchen. The bathroom has a new two-person bathtub with jets and an overhead shower. There is a new toilet as well, and double sinks. All of the fixtures are new, and incredibly clean. The entire apartment was incredibly clean. (I cannot say that much for the hotel we stayed at later, the rooms were filthy, and it was a four star hotel. I literally opened the window and giant dust bunnies blew across the room like tumble weeds from under the furniture.) Both the bedrooms have large comfortable beds. One bedroom has an additional single bed, so the place comfortably sleeps five people. Each bedroom has a small programmable safe, but the apartment is also really secure, and located in a nice part of Old Havana. Some of the streets are still cobblestone, and there are lots of nice restaurants in the area. It's also just a few minute walk to many of the major sites in Old Havana. You can clearly tell that they have invested a lot of effort into every detail of the apartment, and they both have great taste.
Lea and Francois themselves are lovely people, and meeting them is a big part of why we enjoyed staying at Suite Havana. Lea was helpful even before I arrived, and arranged a minibus for my five-person family from the Varadero airport, which is an hour and a half from Havana. She even helped us arrange it back to the airport at the end of our trip, even though we weren't staying there anymore. When we arrived in the taxi, they were there to greet us with their assistant Monica, and then they helped us get acquainted with the apartment and the area. The next morning they arrived around 9 and started quietly preparing breakfast for us. The breakfast was delicious! They served fresh pineapple juice, fresh coffee (they even have an espresso machine), an assortment of sliced fruit (including local fruit unique to Cuba, like Mamey), traditional meat and cheese, and toast and butter. Lea also serves a half dozen fruit preserves and jams that she made herself. Each one I tried was delicious. They are very gracious hosts, and insisted on serving us. Lea and Francois were kind and accommodating all around, making reservations for us for dinner at a nearby "paladar" restaurant on night of our arrival, and at a another great restaurant the following night, O'reilly 304. O'reilly 304 is run by friends of theirs, and it's one of the most bustling restaurants in Havana, for good reason. The service is great, the food is the best I had in Havana, and the drinks are exceptional. The owners have opened another restaurant directly across the street with the same good qualities as 304, but with more space, high ceilings, nicer decor, and a rooftop bar that's beautiful at night. The new spot is called En Del Frente. I highly recommend checking them both out. You can easily walk to them from Suite Havana, or take pedal taxi.
We would stay at Suite Havana again in a heartbeat. You will not find a nicer place for rent in Havana, and Lea and Francois make the experience even better!

We booked at Suite Havana for our first 2 nights in town and we were super excited to go there. I had a confirmed booking from the owners with who I exchanged several emails specifically asking that the apartment was confirmed. I even offered to make payment remotely and asked what was needed from me to secure the booking. I was ensured that the apartment was ours and that they looked forward to welcoming us. They also asked us if we wanted the airport pick up in which case they needed flight details from us. I said I would send these subsequently and thanked them thinking all was ok. I was off email for a few days and on my return 4 days later (as I was expecting no further communication from them when I went online after a long weekend national Bank holiday) I later I discovered an email from Suite Havana sent the day after my email exchange with them, saying that the apartment was NOT confirmed and they had flight details from me in order to confirm. I immediately replied sending them the flights and to my huge surprise and disappointment they had given the place away!!! They even said that admittedly yes they had confirmed the room to me but that the next day they sent another email because they had another customer enquiry! Unprofessional or what???So we had given up our option at another place, now EVERYTHING in Havana booked up and only 3 days til our trip and we have no place to go when we get there AND they were so rude saying it was our fault and that I should not have gone off email for 4 days while vacationing!!! Completely rude and unprofessional. Triple check your booking. Place looks great but Leandre should not be dealing with customers.. More French rudeness than Cuban friendliness and hospitality!!!:(

Suite Havana lamenta no haber podido guardar por mas tiempo unas fechas que reservo durante 3 dias mientras otros clientes interesados esperaban. Lamentamos que no nos hallamos entendido en cuanto a nuestros plazos de reserva asi como la confirmacion o vencimiento de esta. Lamentamos que no haya recibido nuestras actualizaciones a su correo disponible. Gracias a este señalamiento seremos mas celosos con la politica de reservacion de ultimo minuto y con la comunicacion via email. En este nuevo año nuestros objetivos son: climatizar el salon principal, poner una linea de telefono fijo, que nos facilite la comunicacion a todos y ofrecer una hora de internet gratis a nuestros clientes. Seguiremos trabajando fuerte, exigiendonos al maximo, para de esta manera mantenernos en la lista de los 10 mejores lugares donde dormir en La Habana.

We stayed at Suite Havana for five nights recently and had a lovely time. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and has its own roof garden. Everything was spotlessly clean and we were pleased to find complementary cigars and rum which was a nice touch The location is in the old part of the city within walking distance of many of the main sites. Leah (the owner) was good at communicating prior to our trip and arranged a taxi for us when we arrived. The ladies who came in each day to make breakfast were super friendly. We are both vegetarians and I can't eat gluten so having somewhere to cook was great and the kitchen was very well equipped. Finding food to buy was a bit of a challenge and people who can't eat gluten would probably be best bringing some basics from home. The pictures on trip adviser are accurate except the bath has now been replaced by a large shower. I would have preferred not to have an overhead shower but in all other respects the bathroom was great. The bed was very comfortable and there was air conditioning in the bedroom. As the apartment is in the centre of Havana with a restaurant next door there is some noise from the street - we liked hearing the singers and noises of the city but if you're particularly sensitive to noise then some earplugs at night might be a good idea.

Four of us had a very relaxing two nights in this lovely apartment right in the centre of Old Havana. We were very well looked after by the owner and her staff who came every morning to give us breakfast. Otherwise we were left to enjoy the apartment. It had two bedrooms, both the same size, one large bathroom and the use of a very well equipped kitchen. There was also a roof terrace with tropical plants and stunning views. I would thoroughly recommend staying here, though there some steep marble steps up to first floor.

Great apartment in great location owned/staffed by lovely people. We booked this place direct as we were not able to book via booking sites due to the US embargo - ridiculous. Most of the better hotels were booked but Havana Suite coincidentally had exactly our two nights available. We declined the included breakfast on our first morning as we wanted to get out and about and experience as much as we could of Havana as we only had two days. The breakfast provided n our second mroning was lovely albeit a bit too plentiful! They rcommended restaurants which were fantastic and could not have been more helpful actually making the reservation for us on our second night . Location could not be better right in the middle of the most important places. Roof terrace is amazing - I smoked one of the complimentary cigars on the roof washed down with some complimentary rum!

Suite Havana lived up to all expectation. The room was large with a comfy bed and although the bathroom is shared it is huge. The shower and bath are the nicest we saw in any Casa in Cuba. There was nobody in the 2nd room whilst we were there so we were lucky and had the place to ourselves. The roof top terrace is an added bonus with some rocking chairs to chill out in the evening. Breakfast was amazing and the portions were huge and the staff who came in were so friendly. The owners were also very helpful and the Casa had a great location in Havana Vieja. I can recommend this casa if you want to be in walking distance of all the main squares. Only one slight downside was the street outside can get noisy but usually quietens off by midnight.

We had a really comfortable night here and wished we were there for longer. The Casa is in tip top condition and beautifully furnished with all the mod cons but also keeping it totally user friendly. Two double bedrooms and a large bathroom, amazing roof terrace and a very well equipped kitchen. Fruit, rum and cigars were on the house and we were made to feel thoroughly at home. We requested brunch at 11am as we were leaving to come back to the UK and the owners couldn't have been more obliging. Can't recommend this highly enough. Have fun.

This is an amazing apartment, very beautiful and quite comfortable, and it’s located within walking distance of everything that’s worth seeing in Old Havana. I loved standing on the balcony or sitting on the terrace drinking a mojito or two while listening to traditional Cuban songs performed by street musicians. Plus the owners are wonderful people.
