We were very happy with our accommodation in this large, main floor apartment on a quiet street that is still close to good paladars and a pleasant walk along the Malecon to Old Havana. Our large room with a comfortable double bed and both an overhead fan (which we used) and AC (which we did not need to use) seemed...

We stayed for a week at Christmas, our first time in Cuba. As everyone has noted, the family are very friendly, kind, and helpful without being at all intrusive. The daughter, Jessica, speaks good English. The neighborhood (Vedado) is safe, beautiful, and elegantly crumbling, and it is noticeably less polluted than old Havana. Two minutes walk away, there are frequent...

I felt very lucky to reserve four nights at this Casa on relatively short notice as it has been around for a long time and was highly recommended in at least four of my guidebooks. I read all 120 or so TripAdvisor reviews and was especially influenced by consistent mention of helpful (but not pushy) family and (importantly) no mention...

My husband and I stayed with Jorge, Marisol, and Jessica for 4 nights in October 2016. Our stay was perfect. We rented a room with a connected private bathroom in the house - Jorge gave us our own keys and we were able to easily come and go. The room is clean and spacious, and the bathroom was spotless with...

My husband and I started and ended our vacation in Cuba with Jorge and his lovely family. It was one of the best experiences during our entire trip! The room and bathroom are very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect. We had such a great time, in particular, because Jorge, Marisel and Jessica were always ready to chat and...

Jorge, his wife and daughter were all very friendly and helpful. Our two rooms were very clean and of cause air conditioned. The breakfast was very nice too....

Jorge and Mari make excellent hosts. Wonderfully located and clean apartment. We stayed for 3 nights and would recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Cuba experience. Though be aware this is authentically no frills. It is their house you are living in, not a hotel

We found this Casa in the Moon travel book - Havana by Christopher Baker. We booked for 4 nights in March 2016. The description on the website and the book was 100% accurate. Jorge, his wife Marisel and Jessica (daughter) were wonderful hosts. We don't speak any Spanish and we managed just fine, Jessica is fluent in English. The Casa...

The location of the accommodation (Vedado) is excellent. The room is basic (compared to european standards) BUT it is clean, it has it's own bathroom, the bed is good and it has a fan. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful and this made the whole stay a very enjoyable experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

When we were planning our trip to Cuba, myself and my husband knew we didnt want to stay at hotels, but in casas particulares. A friend of mine recommended Casa Jorge Coalla Potts and I wrote to them straight away. They replied the e-mails very fast (considering that Internet access in Cuba is not that easy). As I booked months...
