First time in Camaguey with no previous reservation took a horse and cart taxi to this location on spec' and found accommodation. one room available out of three with an additional room at the Rafael's sister across the road. Very helpful and accommodating plus they are building an extra room.

Never again for many reasons! Let me state 3 and warn other tourists to follow the advise of "Lonely planet" and "Stefan Loose's" German guide which must be the reason why this casa has no problems finding new customers! 1. Rafael's casa is far from being worth its price of 30 CUC (the 25 CUC announced at trip advisor are...

What an interesting, beautiful house- an old convent made into house by Rafael who is an architect. Great rooms, clean, quiet, high ceilings, wonderful tropical courtyard to eat breakfast and relax. Rafael is more than helpful- and this place is located very central, easy to get anywhere. Rafael has excellent recommendations for food also- follow his tips!

We booked on route and what a lovely casa! Rafael is such an interesting and friendly guy. Breakfast is an impressive spread, the rooms nicely done and the courtyard a relaxing place to sit and chat. Definitely recommend this one!

Irene is a friendly host always making sure her guests have a nice stay in her house. The house is on an excellent location a couple of blocks from the Parque Central and other city squares, and walking distance from the pedestrianized boulevar. Highly recommended. Irene's son and daughter also rent rooms in their own places.

We really enjoyed our stay at this casa, although it was just for 1 night. The casa is beautiful decorated and the room was very spacious! The hosts are really friendly and helpful. It's just a short walk away from the city center and the breakfast and the dinner were delicious. Really recommended!

We reserved two nights in this casa, after the first night we went out for breakfast and when we came back the cleaners had packed all of our bags (i.e. toothbrushes and other (very!) personal items) and put them outside of the room... Their explanation: they had a big family coming who had reserved all the rooms. But it turns...

We absolutely loved staying here! The house is beautiful and a real labour of love for the owner- an architect called Rafael. The breakfast was incredible- the only thing wrong with it was that there was far too much food for us to finish! It is highly recommended to eat dinner here, the quality of the food was excellent and...
