Excellent place, excellent overviews, excellent services offered by hotel personnel. The weather was just perfect, the beaches were very clean and nice, white sands, spectacular palm trees and coconut trees, water was just perfect for bath and swimming. I left that place with great memories.

We stayed at Paradisus Varadero for 5 days. The service of the staff is very poor. - Our toilet was blocked almost everyday - If you call after 11pm for any emergency, they won’t answer the phone - Staffs at the buffet were not friendly and the cooks don’t seem to show any interest (even if you tip them enough) This is not the Cuba that I saw before Covid. Everything has changed. I’m not sure If it’s the pool water or something else. We all got bitten by some type of black flys and It’s still itchy after 4-5 days. If you’re staying at this resort, don’t come out of the room from Sunset to 7.30sh pm. Same food everyday, which is something that we expected. Beach was excellent. Bartenders were very friendly

Once again in the Royal Service, our vacation destination! So.. here’s the rundown: I only eat at the Royal service restaurant, it’s convenient and the food is always delicious, I did however, make it to the beach buffet 2 times on Cuban day. What an amazing fun time, great food… huge offerings… big roasted pig, and all of the other delicious Cuban food, the entertainment was there, dancing and giving a bit of Cuban history… very entertaining and enjoyable. The Pool is probably one of the cleanest pools I’ve ever been in. The service is outstanding, anywhere on the resort. The rooms are clean. The entertainment team is amazing. I can’t really complain about anything, my 2 weeks spent at the Royal service was, as always, the best vacation I’ve ever had! It was the hotels 23 birthday!! What a party!!!! Tip: take bug spray, there are mosquitoes, I had very few bites, but I sprayed every evening before going out. It’s hard to complain about the mosquitoes because that’s nature, their environment… so just try to be prepared. …

Paradisus Varadero went above. Beyond my expectations, in every aspect! The resorts beautiful natural environment along, with its top notch facilities provided an experience. The infinity pools with their views of the ocean were absolutely awe inspiring. The staffs service was truly exceptional. With a range of activities there was never a dull moment. The dining options were outstanding offering a variety of flavors. This resort is a must visit for anyone looking for an indulgent getaway.

Upon arriving at the hotel's main lobby, my disappointment was immediate. The staff informed us that our room was Not located in the main part of the hotel as expected, but rather in a supposedly "newer and upgraded" section. Little did we know that this so-called upgrade was far from what was promised. We were directed to a remote section of the hotel, complete with its own lobby and pools. However, this "Reserved" section could hardly be considered a 2.5-star establishment. To our dismay, there was no beach access, and the pools were in a state of disarray. They were clearly not maintained and were unclean. The images presented on the Sunwing website were a far cry from the reality we encountered. Moreover, the restaurants and buffet in this section were a huge disappointment. The quality of the food was subpar, and the variety was severely lacking compared to what was advertised. It was evident that the main section of the hotel, which we had paid for, offered a much more appealing experience. However, the most significant issue we encountered was with the room we were assigned. It was, quite frankly, one of the worst hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. The primary problem was the presence of ants. They were everywhere - on the floors, walls, in our beds, and even in our luggage. We lodged complaints about the room and requested to be moved continuously for four days. Each day, we pleaded with the staff to find us an alternative room, even within the same section of the hotel. However, our requests were consistently denied, and the staff provided different excuses each time. Initially, they claimed the hotel was fully booked, despite the resort clearly having numerous unoccupied rooms. Then, they stated that the main part of the hotel did not have hot water, even though we had also experienced a lack of hot water in our room. Promises were made that a room would be available for us the next day, but upon visiting the front desk, we discovered we had been deceived and presented with yet another excuse. We involved the Sunwing Agent at the resort and expressed our concerns, but despite their initial willingness to help, no solutions were provided. In desperation, we even resorted to hugely tipping the cleaning staff generously and requesting a thorough cleaning of our room. While this temporarily alleviated the ant problem and improved the cleanliness, the ants would return the following day. Both my wife and our three-year-old daughter suffered ant bites due to the presence of ants in our sheets. On the fifth day of our stay, we returned to our room to find a note on our door, requesting us to visit customer service. The following day, we were informed that they were finally planning to show us a different room. It is important to note that our trip was for a duration of seven days. Beach was a little walk from the Royal section but worth it. Vacationed as a solo female and felt safe and well cared for. Staff is outstanding. Pool was fantastic. Grounds were immaculate. Rooms were spotless. Food was great for Cuba.

I’m in the resort right now service is good but food is horrible, same thing is every day, I guess we are eating the left over every day😱also they don’t allow we have visitor or bro g our date to our room, first said I have to pay for additional room $300 USD Then $270 USD now they came down to $ 170 USD they said; no day pass allowed for your visitor if you want your visitor stay overnight I must pay more money ?!

No hot water in our room, a/c was more of a small fan and didn't cool room properly. The birds in the food constantly at the buffet area is very unsanitary. The beach is the nicest we've ever visited, staff are very nice and keep the resort nice and clean. Had to ask for toilet paper twice as they forgot to restock when cleaning. Good variety of food choices but bring your own seasonings as food is quite bland otherwise.
