We have stayed here on three occasions and on our third visit brought friends with us. On one note the swimming pool needed to be cleaned (dead leaves and debris) besides that we always have a wonderful time.

The first time we entered a room at Anchorage Hotel, our first impression was that we wouldn't be able to fit into the small room. However, we then opened the bathroom door and found a full wall of shelves - so we didn't need anything in the sleeping area but us. So, if you don't need lots of space, don't... More

Very accommodating considering it was the closed season. Great dive boat (Catamaran). Great crew, informative and proffessional dive master. A fantastic afternoon had by all and the rum punch on the way back was excellent.

Loved the Ocean View. The room was clean and everything worked perfectly. People was kind and helpful. And the coconut ice cream was spectacular! Very nice play to stay and sleep with the sound of the ocean was great. Definitely coming back.

I am with a study abroad group through the University of Virginia. We visited this center just to go whale watching, and it was an amazing experience. Apparently, the conditions were not good for seeing whales. It was very windy, and the pressure was very high, so whales are unlikely to surface - but against all odds, we saw 8... More

At Anchorage hotel, service, hospitality, location are the elements that allow a traveler to spend a pleasant stay in Dominica. Breakfast is very good, the room is very comfortable, the staff is very welcoming and we have a beautiful view of the sea !! The hotel is close to the town of Roseau, 2 to 3 minutes by car.

We came here about 10 years ago and had a really enjoyable stay so decided to stay here again on our return visit to Dominca. The hotel hasn't changed at all, but it is still clean and neat and doesn't look at all dated or faded. The swimming pool was just as we remembered - beautiful and clean and with... More

Room was large and clean. Coffee and tea maker available, no shampoo. Staf very friendly. The only thing I did not like was the noise. If you want to go to bed early prepare yourself: the music from the bar is competing with the sound of the TV. And if you want to sleep a little bit longer the men... More

We booked this tour from our cruise ship, but it was staff from the hotel who were responsible for the tour. We were on a catamaran, and were given thorough instructions before proceding to snorkel. The first leg of the tour was at the Champagne Reef; this portion was guided. We were able to hold a few sea creatures, and... More
