This hotel has a pretty good location - within walking distance of many restaurants, bars and things to do. This is not a fancy place to stay- it has the bare essentials. It is clean. Constant problems with the air conditioning. Most disappointing is that there is a lovely central courtyard but no chairs or tables there to relax. There are a few breakfast tables in the musty reception area. Overall it is a decent hotel but you can get a nice room at Cool Hostel or Hostal Nomada both nearby and almost $20 cheaper/night.... Hotel Abyta is by far the best hotel I've stayed in. It doesn't look like anything special from the outside, but once inside, your blown away with the design and structure of the place. Upgrade to their comfort suite if possible. Silvio, an italian gentleman, who is the owner and works in the mornings lives in an apartment within the... More
