We stayed here two times, one day at a time! The first room we got on the third floor was great! It was beautiful and didn't smell like mold compared to the room we got on the first floor. The room on the 1 st floor was dark and smelly. When we closed the door we felt like we were...

This hotel has good air conditioning in the room and the bed is comfortable and clean. It is in a very quiet street and very centralized location by Zona Colonial. It's a 6 mins. walk to a great restaurant Pata e Palo on Plaza de Espana.

The nightly price was good considering this hotel is located in the colonial zone. Restaurants, art galleries, souvenir shops and the Zona are an easy walk from this hotel. We had to ask for an adequate amount of towels every night. On our third night, the desk clerk actually checked our room while we were at dinner and decided that...

The staff is exceptional, very helpful and make the best out of your stay! The rooms are nice and clean, the location is the best you can find (center and quiet, with a great place to hang out just out of it), obly problem is the jacuzzi not working

Pros Location was great. Breakfast was really good with eggs, toast, nice fruit plate, cereal, etc. Cons When I checked in, I asked if they had a map with the hotel and surroundings. He said he would print one for me. The printer wouldn't work. I asked if he could orient me to the area by pointing in which direction...

Very recommandable!! German-Dominican hosts, super-friendly and helpful on any necessity you may have during your stay. PHANTASTIC breakfast offered(!) Every variaty, delicious and in a common, nice area served. Clean rooms, comfy and nice (no luxury though). I missed storage places for small personal items to put on, pe. in the bathroom or also in the bedroom itself, hopefully this...

The hotel is located in the colonial zone of Santo Domingo. It has a very hostal look-like but a lot better than one. The room was nice but a bit small for me, however, one most take into account that it's an old house turned into a hotel after all. The shower was too small, and it was very annoying...

Nice room with safe, tv, fan and air conditioning. Bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink and bidet. The hotel is on a square that can only be reached on foot (50 metres/yards or so from the street). I didn't see an elevator, but I'm not sure there isn't one. The rooms are not soundproof and I woke up from people...

The location: Quiet corner at the southeastern edge of Zona Colonial, but very easy to get one's bearings and right next to all the historic attractions. The room: Well designed and appointed, lots of cool little touches. Completely value for money. The service: Sincere, unassuming, friendly. Wifi: Very strong everywhere

I booked just one night their smallest room for a single person on hotels.com It was rather inexpensive for a room in Zona Colonial, with A/C, free wi-fi and breakfast included so I wasn't expecting much. The reception area was a bit depressing and not telling how good the rooms and service are. My room was in the second floor,...
