Wow what an amazing stay we have had at Pentruf luxury camping site this Easter!! Julia and Jon were fabulous hosts & nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the 5 Star wonderful ‘Shire’ Shepherds Hut with our springer Finn. The hut was so cosy, bed was comfy, and had everything we needed for our stay. The facilities were 10/10 clean, tidy and just fabulous!! Easy access to lots of walks and beaches just a short drive away. Loved the additional bonus of the chicken shack chill out zone!! Finn loved the enclosed field he could run around in it for hours if we let him. Just perfect, what more can we say! We cannot wait to come back again next Easter!! So much so we have already booked. Thank you Julia and Jon for having us :)

We had a wonderful stay. The yurt was really well equipped, with a big comfy bed, cooker, sofa, log burner and all the towels/blankets etc you could need. The owners are really friendly and the site is perfrct for dogs, our labrador had the best time as he could run around safely and explore. The location is great for walking and exploring the Ceredigion coast. We would stay again and recommend to friends and family.

My cousin and I have just returned from a lovely 2 night break in the Shepherds Hut. Julia and Jon made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived and could not have been more helpful. The site is ideal for dogs and ultra dog friendly. They can run free and muddy paws are no problem for the owners, as long as you are having fun and enjoying your stay. We all thoroughly enjoyed our trip and cannot wait to go back!

We've just come back from a fantastic nights stay in the villagers yurt, very easy to find and location is only 20mins drive to Aberaeron and 30mins from New Quay if you want a day at the beach. We were greeted by juila on arrival who was lovely she showed us round the area then let us settle in, our dog absolutely loved her- very dog friendly hosts. The yurt itself is very cleans and well equipped, you had a gas burner for cooking on, cutlery and cups, towels were also provided, usb charging point by the bed. Bedding was extra thick as its very cold but this kept up very warm a little sofa and also a stand to hang your clothes on. There is a cool box provided inside the yurt if you need it but there is a fridge in the communal area to store food. Julia and jon provided us with lots of fire wood for the log burner. The toilets are in excellent condition also had a shower- they were very well designed and only a 1 minute walk away from the yurt, there was also a little communal kitchen area with tea, coffee , milk and little biscuits which was a lovely touch. The chickenshack was a lovely touch if you wanted to go play games or just chill outside- chickens were extremely quiet! This place is very dog friendly nothing was a pain for the host Julia and jon even after our dog dragging mud everywhere. The first field is all secure for dogs so they can run around as much as they need to without having to worry about them wondering off. Would definitely recommend a visit if you've never tried glamping before this was very much an experience we would do again thanks to the hosts and making our stay stress free and enjoyable.

This is a superb glamping site in a beautiful & peaceful area, especially if you have dogs. There is a secure field for them to run around in, which our two lurchers thoroughly enjoyed. The facilities are excellent and very clean. There is a social area, which if we came again with family in the summer we would definitely make more use of for games etc. We had a very comfortable stay in the Yurt. Julia & Jon were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and they have thought of everything that you could need.

Returned to Pentref for our anniversary and stayed in the yurt. Everything was just perfect Julia & Jon are fantastic hosts and so welcoming. We first stayed back in 2019 in the shepherds hut and it’s great to see how the site has developed since then. Absolutely love the chicken shack, and the toilet and shower facilities are pristine. We will definitely be back

An Amazing truly dog friendly (not just dog tolerant) glamping experience. I stayed in the Yurt with my little dog Storm and it was definitely a home from home. There are so many positives to say that I am bound to miss something but here goes........ Yurt - clean, everything you need, plenty of space, a very comfortable warm bed, I didn't need the log burner but everything provided, good outdoor seating area Hosts - friendly, welcoming, helpful, not overbearing, always there if you need anything, this was my first ever glamping trip and they were brilliant! Communal areas - all very clean, good quality, shower rooms better than mine at home, compost WC clean with clear instructions (also have flushing WCs). communal kitchen with leaflets of local areas. Chicken Shack area is brilliant, I sat there every morning to eat my brekkie and let Storm run in the secure paddock area. Facilities - Everything you need for your stay, all good quality furniture, USB charging points in yurt if needed, kitchenette area in yurt has everything you need, cool box good idea, plenty of storage space/areas, good seating areas in chicken shack, communal fridge to use, like the extras such as tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits! Local recommended pubs and places to visit lovely as well - see my other reviews for these! I would 100% recommended and want to return, it is so refreshing to go somewhere I can relax and be myself with my dog The only negative I have is I had to leave and get back to reality!!!!

We stayed in the Yurt for our anniversary weekend along with our lurcher and we absolutely loved it! The hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming but not overbearing, and the surroundings are beautiful. The yurt itself and the other facilities were really lovely and well equipped - absolutely perfect for a weekend away from everything, it was super comfortable and really cosy with the wood burner going! It was incredibly dog friendly too, not just the usual ‘dog tolerant’ and we would particularly recommend it for a break with your dog. There’s also a great restaurant down the road, the Hungry Ram which is really dog friendly too with friendly service and delicious food. We’re already trying to work out when we can go back - it’s a 10 out of 10 from us!

Wonderful stay in the Yurt. Hosts were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The location was ideal, peaceful and felt in the middle of nature, but close enough to attractions such as the beach and the Devils falls. The yurt was cosy and clean. We’ll be visiting again.

Stayed here for two nights after being a runner up in one of their competitions! Was greeted by Julia, made us and our pooch feel so welcome. We stayed in the Shepherds Hut, so cosy and warm with everything you need! Showers and toilet block were spotless. Will be going back!
