2 night stay. DBB £135 for 2 people . Highly recommended. Excellent warm friendly authentic Welsh welcome from Sion. Atmosphere in traditional old fashioned pub with roaring log fire was amazing. Menu was served in either bar or modern restaurant. Food was very tasty. Portions were generous. Steak, fish cakes and fish dishes (as was breakfast ) were excellent. We...

Really friendly and dogs are welcome. The food was spot on and even catered for vegetarians. I love a creme brulee and this place has created the best one I have ever had, it came with apple crisps and apple sorbet. Absolutely perfect. I'd recommend this pub to anyone looking for good food. Booking beforehand is a good idea though.

Enjoyed one night here accompanied by our dogs. Had the large room overlooking terraced rear gardens. Room was lovely and big with a very comfortable bed. Beige carpet was a little stained but that is to be expected when dogs allowed and even gave me a few hair raising moments after walking the dogs. Luckily we brought our own dog...

Stayed here for 3 nights in January whilst attending a training course locally. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The hotel was lovely and quiet and the food was excellent throughout. Staff were friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome at all times. Would stay here again.

I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 courses in the restaurant, the scallops and cod in particular were lovely, however, my husband found the pearl barley and tarragon risotto too overpowering although the sea bass was delicious. Lovely smiling bilingual staff and a super restaurant set up. However, the experience was let down as we were seated at a table which had...

I visited again with Clwb 41 Llanbedr Pont Steffan / Lampeter 41 Club for our November dinner meeting. We were warmly welcomed at the hotel and we received excellent service in the bar and restaurant. My three course dinner was delicious accompanied by a glass of good quality fruity red wine. The highlight of my dinner was the sea bass...

Booked a table for a family meal on Saturday 17th. As we were 9 adults and five children we had pre-booked our meal. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpfull. Would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent food and real ale after a good countryside walk. A full and varied menu that caters for everyone. Very friendly staff and great service. We will definitely visit again during our stay in the area over the Christmas period.
