This hotel really gives you a feeling of being in the Caribbean. You are right next to the ocean to get that wonderful breeze (not a beach). The rooms are comfortable and the staff is very eager to please. The restaurants all around meals were very good. They are also right next door to this local restaurant that has the...

I chose Auberge du Picolet for the Cap-Haitien portion of our family vacation, based solely on the stellar reviews on TA and I could not be more pleased that I did. My family of 11, which included seniors and small children, stayed at numerous hotels during our tour, and this was by far the best in terms of quality, comfort,...

I stayed at this hotel during my visit to Cap Haitien, and I have ABSOLUTELY no regrets. This is very safe and secure, with an armed security guard patrolling this place during the overnight hours. This place is very walk able from the city center, and to other popular bars/restaurants/attractions, including the marketplace. Evening walks on the beach are very...

Excellent rooms with very comfortable beds and pillows. Speaking as someone who is picky when it comes to my sleeping arrangements, it was a welcomed experience to be able to sleep well and safely. The food is amazing. From the dinner rolls and lobster in the evening to omelets in the morning with fresh tropical fruit. The cafe and lobby...

Right on the ocean. Small but very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was wonderful! Great breakfast and many other meals. Walking distance from the souvenir market and other restaurants. We were there for a Medical Missions trip so it was perfect for our team of doctors and nurses. Ask about a Day...

Absolutely wonderful. Kind & helpful staff, large comfortable rooms with all necessities, and a fantastic restaurant. An oasis of calm in a country of chaos. If you're going to Cap Haitien, stay at Auberge du Picolet.

This was my second stay at the Picolet. Last year my wife and I were also part of a mission group spending a week in Northern Haiti visiting various mission project locations. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and attentive to our needs. We at breakfat each morning as a group and dinner most evenings also as a...

The hotel looks beautiful but we stayed at Roi Christophe, we went there for dinner though and it was delicious. The curry goat was probably the best meal out of the four of us but the mushroom steak was pretty damn good too. There are apparently a few kinks in their system though as we tried to order the banan...

This is a very pretty, clean and nice hotel in front of the beach. The service is very good, the rooms are clean enough and the staff is well trained and nice. Is very local, with haitian decoration and music. The internet works well enough although it sometimes falls through. This hotel really gives a different perception for Cap Haitien....
