My husband and I had the chance to stay at the Jamaica Inn for a week in November, 2016. We had one of the cottages, with a private dipping pool (heated), which was lucky as we arrived to cloudy, rainy weather. So, having the private pool really made our holiday as the pool at the Inn was quite cold and... More

Perfect stay for a weekend in Jamaica. Lovely owners and great service. The appetizers before dinner is a nice touch. Great food and drinks. The beach is clean and there is plenty of room. This is the only place to stay in Jamaica.

My husband and I just tied the knot in Jamaica and were lucky enough to spend our first few nights as husband and wife at Jamaica Inn. With many guests and family also staying there, it was really the icing on the cake for our entire wedding experience. Our family made use of the Clearwater Villa, with its own pool... More

Wonderful colonial style hotel in a private setting with gracious staff and elegant accommodations. Sequester yourself and you will be pampered and spoiled although you will miss the culture and joys of the rest of Jamaica. This is the place to stay in Ocho Rios.

This was my second time to Jamaica Inn and it was just fantastic. We stayed for 10 days and I wished I could have stayed for a lot longer. The place and the ambience is just amazing - old colonial style with classy buildings and people. No request is too small, the staff to guest ratio is great so you... More

Returned for our third time in three years! As good as ever. Rooms, service, and the food all wonderful. Stayed on the beach, reading and sipping our rum. Don't go if you want constant activity. However, if you want to relax, tho is the real thing.

I have stayed in quality hotels from Singapore in the East, to California in the West, and I can't think of one I would rather stay in than Jamaica Inn. The hotel sits in prime position, on its own private peninsula, offering a very high standard of service, while cocking a snook at the ugly all inclusive monstrosity further along... More

Jamaica Inn is an institution where the atmosphere and standards have remained second to none over the years. It has never given in to the temptations of mass tourism and couldn't be further from the typical package deal 'all inclusive' resort. It is more like a stay in a Jamaican 'great house' than a hotel, with tasteful local furnishings and... More

We stayed 3 nights in November 2016. We choose the hotel because of its reputation. We love the boutique feel, the quiet restful atmosphere, the old time Jamaica elegance, the large verandas and the personal service. The staff makes you feel welcome and at home. They treat you like family. The owners and manager are visible, hanks on and attentive.... More
